Thank you Bro, how much out of 1- 10 do you think Jesus forgives me with 10 being 100% I'm forgiven sure and 0 being zero chance being forgiven?

Does Jesus forgive and forget the moment I ask for forgiveness even if he know's we may do the same sin later?

I'm not saying I'll do this again because I never ever will but if a person ask's forgiveness of say fornication and God know's that person will fornicate 10 years alter, will he still forgive?

If you are saved, then it is always 100% certain you are saved. There is simply no in between. Either you are saved, or you aren't saved. Period.

So let me ask you a question - Do you believe Jesus died for your sin?

Then another question - Do you believe Jesus died for ALL your sin?

If you cannot answer yes to either of the above, then you are not trusting Christ for your salvation. Either it is about you, and your amazing ability to find sin when there is none, or actual real sin, or it is about the POWER of Christ on the cross to save the world!

So did Jesus come to save the world from sin or not? As many received his name!

"But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to becomechildren of God," John 1:12

The reason I point out your faulty eschatology, is that it walks hand in hand with faulty soteriology! In other words, if you believe all this modern nonsense about right now, bar codes and other stuff being true, then you are likely in a church or reading/hearing material that tells you that you can lose your salvation.

God is the one who saves. We believe, confess and he saves.

"because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. [SUP]10 [/SUP]For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved." Romans 10:9-10

You seem to believe and confess Jesus is Lord. You seem to be concerned about eternity. But do your really TRUST Christ totally for your salvation, for his return, for eternity?

When you question whether sin will send you to hell, you are questioning God's provision on the cross, and that is very sketchy ground.

GOD saves! We repent, yes, but after that, it is all God's work!

[SUP] "[/SUP]For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, [SUP]9 [/SUP]not a result of works, so that no one may boast. [SUP]10 [/SUP]For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them." Eph. 2:8-10

My advice is to read the entire Bible through, and see what it says. Start with the New Testament. Look at people who failed God, like David, and Peter and yet Jesus forgave them.

There is only one reason we are not saved, and that is the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. And that basically means, not trusting Christ for your salvation.

Praying you find hope and peace in God, through Jesus Christ.

"Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." Romans 5:1

Your dabbling with faulty end times nonsense is not giving you any peace. So why not go back to the basics, and trust Christ totally, and let him transform you into his image.

"And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit." 2 Cor. 3:18

PS. The word in the Greek for both Romans 12:2 and the above verse is in the passive tense. That means that it is something we cannot do ourselves, but God is doing to us!

Hi all, I'm new and glad to be here among you all.

Anyway, Let me begin my saying that although Jesus forgives all sins ( except blasphemy of the Holy Spirit) He will not forgive anybody who receives the mark of the beast.

In Revelation's the Bible warns that in the End Times and Great Tribulation, The Antichrist who is Satan or one of Satan's closest companions .i.e. demon will be on the world scene and try to cause all to receive a mark in/on the right hand or forehead that nobody can buy or sell saith he that had the mark which is the name of the beast or the number of his name which is 666.
A lot of technology today could be a step toward the mark of the beast or even the forerunner, or perhaps even the ''very'' technology but is not yet in/ion a person's right hand or forehead. it may even be something we haven't seen yet that's unveiled or something completely unexpected. Things such as UPC barcodes (some claim contains 666 due to the guardbars), Human chips, invisible ink, palm paying devices, e.t.c.

Anyway for some reason about 1 month ago I felt the urge to rip out the UPC barcode from cardboard packaging and hold/press it barcode side touching my forehead for a few seconds, I knew it was wrong but did it anyway and I feel very stupid for doing it. I have OCD (( (obsessive compulsive disorder)) and because I did it once I felt I had to do it a couple more times due to my OCD

So like I said it was silly for me to do that but I have asked Jesus to forgive me and I WON'T do it again EVER ! last time was about 1 month ago and It will never happen again. I have truly repented of it.

But whenever I think about it it always nags me and I wonder if Jesus will actually forgive me for what I did during that stupid act.
Please be honest and do you think Jesus will forgive me, do you think it was something of a symbolic act and if it was will that be forgiven if I actually can be forgiven, will ti fall under the same category as forgiven sins ????

God Bless
After you repented of this act and ask forgiveness to Jesus, I guess the only one blaming you is yourself and the devil. I guess the devil likes to play this tricks to confuses our minds, so don't you dare waste your time with that. When you found yourself thinking again about it, take your Bible and read it, or talk to the Lord through praying, to give you freedom and relief from this situation.
You are not the beast, and you didn't invent the mark of the beast. Be aware of the devil tricks.
I know you also have OCD, and from the deep of my heart, pray for the Lord to keep you from anything in this world which can confuses your mind from what you really have to treat as a illness. God bless you.

Your ability to buy and sell did not depend on doing it, so that's not the mark.
What you need to be worried about though is anxiety and stronghold of legalist spirit/perfectionism (ocd). It might require time to untangle oneself out of it but will you please take a deep breathe right now and ask yourself:
do I want to be healed? am I willing to be free?
Let this important question ring in your ear.
I'm there for you and willing to talk if you want to talk about it... love of God and prayer sent your way.

Hi, Thanks for the reply

Will Jesus still forgive me whatever my heartfelt thought's were during this act?

When we ask for Forgiveness and repent, does Jesus erase it from his memory. If he does, do we still have to answer to these forgiven sins on judgement day?

God Bless
No, He does not.

Is that surprising to you? It shouldn't be. He forgave you the day you accepted His son (Well, actually WAY before that, but that's another story) You don't have to beg forgiveness at every turn, and keep asking Him to forget, over and over.

Do your earthly parents love you? Do you keep asking them to please, Please love you every week, or so? Why not? Because you believed them when they told you they loved you.

Now, give God the same respect, and believe Him. Certainly you should feel sorry for the dumb things you do. (We all should) But all He has ever asked is that we express that sorrow, and then thank Him for already forgiving us....... NOT for Him to do something He has told us He has already done.

As far as a silly barcode incident goes, He is probably looking forward to having a great big laugh with you about that when you get home... as you now laugh with your parents about some of the crazy notions you had as a child.
