You want to disagree with what I say, thats one thing. You want to attack me personally, thats another. The latter is not discussion, and it shows immaturity. IMO There ought to be an apology for it, but thats just what an adult who claims to be a Christian would do.
Let the Lord judge these people ...those who attack and accuse a righteous man and those who delight In the evil deed

Gay pride...is the very reason. We have threads like this...folks who openly reject God's righteous judgment against sin....I had to turn from my lust and fornication when I humbled myself to Christ and His Spirit...who are these people to claim they must not turn from their perversions?

Christians and the church are making every effort possible to get somebody, anybody to come to church for any reason. They have tvs to get men in for football season, they have blaring music to get the young people in,they have coffee and doughnuts, anything to bring em in.Are they saved? Who knows? Are they delivered from sin? Who knows? The pews are full and thats all that matters! Don't tell them they're in sin, they'll leave!!! No just pet them down, tell them God understands we're not perfect and after all He is a God of love! Its the new church brother Mitspa, full pews, empty hearts.

Quote " because pride is the worst sin going "

Not according to the Bible. While all sin sends one to hell homosexuality garnered the death penalty in the OT. We are living in the age of grace but homosexuality is a very serious sin and offence against God.

Oh Really?

Which Bible is that? Not talking about the relativism of sin or if any of the above are sins...just saying.

Proverbs 6:16

These six things the Lord hates,
Yes, seven are an abomination to Him:
17 A proud look,
A lying tongue,
Hands that shed innocent blood,
18 A heart that devises wicked plans,
Feet that are swift in running to evil,
19 A false witness who speaks lies,
And one who sows discord among brethren.

PS - For more death penalties please also refer lying to God - Ananias, Sapphira, and the dude who touched God's tabernacle.

So God killed folks for lying in the church...but we can't warn them against being sexual deviants?.... and pride is at the root of all sin...but clearly when one tries in pride to defile the church...God intends them to be warned...not told it's fine.

And none of that changes the fact that homosexuality was a death penalty in the OT. Pride didn't warrant a death penalty. The "dude" that touched the ark died because God is Holy and that was before we were living in grace. A priest was the only one who could go into Gods presence. A and S died because they lied to the Holy Spirit. None of that changes the fact that homosexuality was and is a serious sin in the eyes of God.

I didn't say there was a gay christian, I was just calling you a modern day pharisee in your approach to sin ... you prob have many hidden fetishes yourself ... those who judge are generally full of sexual deviance and all kinds of seedy fetishes ...
Wow, and there are two likes on this?! smh You slam someone for judging and then turn around and judge them. Two faced much?
Yes I noted those likes...as did the Lord

Ok, so let me clarify why I put a like on chancer's post. Note the red highlighted part of his post--THAT is what I was "liking" on.. As far as why Rachel20 and BornAgain put likes on it, they can explain themselves if they see fit. Sorry if I offended you, Mitspa..

You have spoken a lot of truth sister, but I would submit the greatest truth you said was that GOD SAVED AND CHANGED YOU. That change couldn't have taken place without you HEARING the Gospel, then accepting it.

If we give them the Gospel, pray that they accept it, THEN let the Holy Spirit change and correct them, we will see the fruit.
Amen, I agree with you. We should speak the truth to others in love hoping to encourage them to come to God. If they come to God, he is the one that does the clean up of all sins. He will wash them in the precious blood of his son and teach them and the fruit of the Spirit shall be evident to all.

I enjoyed reading your post. You spoke sound scripture in it. Here are some scriptures that came to mind when I read your post.
Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
And also:
Romans 10: 13-15
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.14How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
15And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

I see.

But I am not the one saying it is not in the Bible :(:(:(

Don't forget all the other laws about sexual immorality and fornication too! Like sex before marriage also!

Deuteronomy 22:20-21

But if the thing is true, that evidence of virginity was not found in the young woman, then they shall bring out the young woman to the door of her father's house, and the men of her city shall stone her to death with stones, because she has done an outrageous thing in Israel by whoring in her father's house. So you shall purge the evil from your midst.

You know that's part of the point with the gay aganda threads.. if someone started a thread promoting adultery or fornication. ..everyone would rebuke that..but because the gay agenda has infected the church with its insanity. ..we have folks calling themselves christians promoting this evil.

That is totally not true, Mitspa. Read my above reply to Kayla. And what's your problem with me lately? Stop being a donkey..

Why do you all do that? When I say homosexuality is a serious sin, that they are in bondage, lost and in need of Jesus I have a bunch of people jump me and say "well theres this sin and that sin and you sin and I sin" Whats your point?? When Jesus spoke to the woman in adultery He spoke to her about HER sin,HER need of a Savior! He told HER to sin no more. He didn't say "well Christians aren't perfect so you're good." He didn't say "well there is this sin and that sin and another sin so we can't compare sin". He didn't just give her a bear hug and say "hey I'm Jesus and I love ya,you're good to go." NO!
She knew she was in sin, some don't. She admitted her sin and Jesus clarified that she sinned. He forgave her sin and gave her water to never thirst again. Then he said "go and sin no more"

There's nothing to work out. I clarified my "like", even apologized, then he insults me by saying I'm a troublemaker and can't help myself.

My plan was to provoke someone who is 'righteous in their own eyes'

I did it purposefully. After reading many of your posts, I could see the way you 'Lord' your basic understanding of scripture over other people, and the derogatory way you express that, is quite unkind.

My claim is - that those who think their better than others and use their spirituality as their own sheriffs badge to express their critical options freely, not just in this topic, but many more (after reading a multitude of your fine work), and whom talk down to others are worse than those whom you point the finger too.

This is behavior is always confirmed by their response to other people.

Love, grace and mercy come first ... not having to always be right.

Maturity is actually displayed when one is under pressure - and is expressed by the fruits of the Holy Spirit.

Have a beautiful day :)

My participation is over.

Sorry if I offended anyone ... I wont again.
