Physiotherapy - NHS Choices
In the UK, they work at helping people with mobility issues.
So if someone broke their leg, they would help with exercises to get muscles
moving again for example. Or if someone had a fall they help getting them
moving again.
We have had physios come to the house to help my aunt with her mobility.
So they also work in the community.
Plus they work in old people's homes, then there are sports physios.
Plus people with bad backs often benefit from physio therapy and lots lots more.
In the UK physios are employed by the NHS, but there are loads of private companies
who use them too. Private medical practices, companies etc.
The place I work has just employed a company to give free physio to staff who would
benefit from it, to cut sickness absence from bad backs, falls, injuries, arthritis etc.
This is what is needed to be a physio in the Uk, much of it is on the job
training. So you do your degree while working. The US will have its own
qualifications/degrees.

Or maybe there are other things you could look into which do on the job training,
earning and learning at the same time.
