Family members can consent and at least to my knowledge I dont remember Jesus saying anything about incest. So is incest ok now?

I believe informed consenting adults have the right to do whatever they would like to do with each other in the bedroom. It's not really my business.

Yes, and I know and I agree that lying is a sin. I don't deny it and I try to correct it. It is in the Bible and I want to obey God.

But you are saying that God doesn't say anything about homosexuality, which is not true. You deny it completley and that's why it's frustrating. You're twisting things and arrange them as you please.

I'm not homosexual so "twisting" the Bible doesn't benefit me. Upon research, I found that Romans is about idolatry and the arsenokoites does not mean homosexual.

But it is Gods business and he says its wrong. What the Word of God says supersedes your opinion by a long shot.

You specifically asked me about my thoughts on the subject. If you didn't care about my thoughts, why ask? Besides, incest is rampant in the Bible. Lot and his daughters, Eve and Adam's sons and daughters, Noah's descendants.

Do you understand what sin is? It is trangression of the Law. The law against incest was not given yet.

My questions were rhetorical in nature. I already knew the answer, I just wanted to see if you would be willing to submit to the Word of God or not.

So, in other words, you don't listen to anyone who doesn't affirm your beliefs and views. You do know this is a website for discussion, right? No offense but if you're not looking to learn from others and explore new concepts, why are you here?

You do realize this is a christian chat site? You do realize that most people here adhere to the Word of God as if it were, well you know, the Word of God? And no, I am not interested in any "new concepts" that are contrary to the Bible.

I forgot. Christianity says no one can have opinions and no one ever disagrees on what the Bible says.

The word of God clearly shows that Romans 1 is about idolatry and church officials and theologians have no definition for arsenokoites.

I am a true christian -- I have no doubt about it. I do not support same sex marriages but I am not going to sit in judgement against someone who does. I do not like you tellig me how I should feel as a christian. All our ways are sinful includihng your judgementa waysl. Start acknowleging/repenting for your own sins and stop calling out others out on theirs.

I do not support homosexuality in any way, but I will say in the United States of America they preach to us that we are ALL equal. Sooooo in my opinion, if you are going to preach "Liberty to ALL" then you have to provide that Liberty and freedom to ALL. In a "religious" point of view then no I don't support it, but as far as equality I think that the right should be given (at least in the U.S.)

You also have to remember he can't run this country based on his religious beliefs. Even IF Obama was against gay marriage , he can't make laws just because he doesn't agree with it. It is also important to remember the U.S. gives the right to practice our beliefs freely. Just because Christians don't agree with homosexuality doesn't mean that the country has to obey us. The whole idea of this country is Freedom for everyone. So, if they live in the U.S. then they should have the same rights. Religion has nothing to do with it. But that is just my opinion.
