It just seems kind of funny to me that everyone said Obama's executive orders were an overreach of power. In 100 days Trump is predicted to sign more executive orders than Obama did in 8 years
**** It seems Trump is reversing what Obama put in place---- seems fair and even...

President T has set the bar too low I mean really if he is going to build a wall then he needs to build it completely around the country... You know the wall along the Canada border to keep the pesky Canadians out and then the wall needs to go up on both the east and west coast cause all kinds of vermin could come in by sea...

Then we'd need a dome to cover the whole USA to keep any country from dropping in from the sky...

PS.... Is there any 100% pure blood American? I thought we were the melting pot of the world because of immigrants.... My mistake....

Then he can send the bill to every country on the planet....I'm sure they will all get in line to pay for it just like Mexico is chomping at the bit to pay for the south wall.

Why is the opposing opinion on Trumps wall a bad thing to try and prevent ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS from entering and forcing immigrants to enter LEGALLY. What does that hurt?

Nagative ghost rider, you should know better than that, good and proper is found in number 18 of article 1, section 8. It says good and proper for carrying into execution of the forgoing powers. Social security retirement is not listed in the forgoing powers.

Nice try but you missed this part: "... and all other Powers vested by this Constitution in the Government of the United States, or in any Department or Officer thereof.''

This means '' the Necessary and Proper Clause expressly confers incidental powers upon Congress''. The court in McCulloch v. Maryland[SUP][6][/SUP] held that federal laws could be necessary without being "absolutely necessary", and noted that "The clause is placed among the powers of Congress, not among the limitations on those powers." The clause has been paired with the Commerce Clause to provide the constitutional basis for a wide variety of federal laws. For instance, various reforms involved in the New Deal were found to be necessary and proper enactments of the objective of regulating interstate commerce.[SUP][10]

Sounds like a lot fancy lawyer talk. Lol. Can we pass an amendment that says you can't interpret the constitution if you do, or have ever had a law degree. Lol

Aha! Good to see you don't ignore my posts. Glad to know you learned something, too. By the way, the Constitutionality of SSA was UPHELD by the US Supreme Court in the Helvering v Davis case. Therefore, contrary to certain right wing myths, the government is empowered by the Constitution to impose the FICA tax.

Live and learn!

Wow, you need to turn your law degree back in. The powers are listed in the constitution, and creating a public retirement pension isn't one of them.

LOL. If you are so smart, why not stand up before the Supreme Court and let them know how "wrong" they are. ;)

As we discussed on this forum about two dozen times, abortion was legal under the Anglo-Saxon common law. See my earlier posts on Blackstone and the legal concept of quickening. I have already given you proof that the Constitution specifically includes the common law.

Just a reminder that Roe v Wade and Casey were decided by a Republican majority Supreme Court which encompassed professing Christians like yourself.

Youre manipulating the facts to suit your marxism and your love of the progressive left wing. You don't play fair.... liars don't so it's not surprising.

They are wrong, just like the are wrong about baby murder. One day those false teachers and Pharisees known as Supreme Court Justices are going to declare that peace frogs can be squished. It will be people like me that will be there to stop them.

They were wrong. True.

As for Roe V Wade...look it up. There were 4 Demoncrats on the court, 3 Repugnantcans, and 1 Republican and 1 Democrat.

The latter two were White and Renquist, who dissented.

4 Demoncrats and 3 Repugnantcans made abortion-on-demand legal.

In 1973 the court the SCOTUS had 5 who called themselves Democrats and 4 who called themselves Republicans.
