Why am I not surprised that you would be one of those who would agree with that guy who called them "crap?"

I suspect that running around the woods all day, plotting the overthrow of the Government has a detrimental affect after all.
Why am I not surprised you read into my words that which does not exist? I said nothing of crap; what I said was some aspects of that list have proven themselves detrimental. That's a fact.

When I pledged to defend the Constitution against all enemies, both foreign and domestic, I meant it, and that includes the weakling wannabes hiding in the woods, masterbating at their own imperialistic thoughts of overthrowing our great Republic. I don't take kindly to you equating me with such filth, but I should suspect nothing less from a pompous jackass.

Billyd; said:
Read carefully 1.8.1 The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States;

There's a lot of power in the noted words.

Also consider the necessary and proper clause of the Constitution. As for social security or other forms of social safety valve programs, it was our Founding Fathers who invented Social Security (Agrarian Justice by Thomas Paine), infrastructural investments (Washington's building of the Potomac river basin), and the New Deal policy which was based on Republican Teddy Roosevelt's Progressivism which, in turn, was based on the writings of John Quincy Adams who was the USA's foremost authority on the ideas of our Founders.

Nagative ghost rider, you should know better than that, good and proper is found in number 18 of article 1, section 8. It says good and proper for carrying into execution of the forgoing powers. Social security retirement is not listed in the forgoing powers.

Yes read it carefully: General Welfare of the United States. Says nothing about the welfare of the people.
What do you think they were talking about when they said "of the United States"? It includes anything/everything of the United States with the exception of the people?

The government, interstate trade, and it's defense. If it was to inclide everything imaginable, the next 17 grants of authority that preceded the first, would be unnecessary.

That is what YOU think it means. I do too. But we should all know that one of the first things lawyers and politicians hide behing is, " Well, those aren't the EXACT words I used.

Ever notice how Obama couldn't just speak a flowing stream of words? He was constantly having to hesitate, mull his next words over, and try hard to quickly come up with some way of phrasing whatever he was saying so that it could either be defended or denied.

The moment people realize they are better off devoting energy to things within their power improve is the moment the world becomes a better place.

Or at least a less annoying one.

Trump is meeting with lawmakers, captains of industry...he's staying in touch with us thru twitter and Facebook. Your boy obama looks more like the loser he really was when compared to the work ethic of president trump. Pointy headed liberal comes to mind for me. You might as well join the winning team. At some point you gotta realize you're not really spiting your face when you cut off your nose.

Enough already, dude, you're better than this. Quit spouting irrational hatred so that people like seedtimeharvest can give you a like while he's stuck in the same mire of hatred as you. You seriously need to ask God to cleanse your heart because your anger is not based in righteousness.

Trump is a power-hungry sociopath who has managed to convince middle class America that he gives a crap about him. He does not have our best interest at heart.

Why do you say that? Seems to me he's countering your argument with actions that prove you incorrect. You're blinded by your hatred, my brother, and it pains me.

It just seems kind of funny to me that everyone said Obama's executive orders were an overreach of power. In 100 days Trump is predicted to sign more executive orders than Obama did in 8 years
