You are funny.
Taxes on imports will not save America.
So far I see nothing Trump has done to stop corruption, instead he puts a billionaire in place to cut spending on oversight agencies who were investigating him,

Tell me why does he not encourage Congress to stop taking grift, how exactly do they become millionaires after serving in office?

The only thing that is going to happen is Americans will have less choice and pay more for what they import.

And the whole Hyundai investment was started under Biden so there is that.
We shall see if Americans want to pay $4500 for their Mac Books and iPhones

Who in America is trained to put together a Niki shoe.... no one, where is the in infrastructure...no where, supply chains etc., etc.,

It is a pipe dream.
I remain entirely unimpressed at your geopolitical and financial analysis.

But then again, this is standard fare. I am used to hearing it. Not at all alarming.

I can completely understand taking care of America first but isolationism is idiotic as we are a global economy and that's not going to change. Also there are global problems that require a global effort
I do agree with you though, those percentages Trump held up were nonsense as well.

Even if he wanted to balance the trade with some countries, the way he is going about is makes no sense.

Umm... the booming economy that Vietnam is, 33rd largest economy.
For shame after what they did to that country.
I think you missed the point:
Tariffs worked like a charm. And post haste.

Dredging up moldering historical corpses is not my job.
Better left to others. You are doing a fine job at it BTW.

Back to ad hom, yes standard fare.
Time will tell.
I doubt Jeffrery Sachs is wrong given his fair and unbiased arguments.

Well the USA has no trouble with it when it suits their purpose.
Time will tell.

The subject is Donald Trump being stupid
Not as stupid as you think.
He told the left and all of us that he would win even if he shot people in 5th avenue.
What do the men in in the left do as a response?
Proceed to beat up women in sports.

So he lies too by omission.
No wonder Canada regards him as a sell out. He went to University of Waterloo which make it doubly sad.

Sad, the higher duty on dairy products only occurs when the threshold is crossed, Canada already imports over a billion dollars worth of dairy, what are supposed to do import it and throw it in the garbage.

Just because they taught you this in school doesn't mean it's correct for a country, time or place.

Stock market cratering bids up UST's, lowering interest rates.
9 trillion of which are due in 6 months.

So who is crazy like a fox? And who is just plain crazy?

Nope. Manufacturing is coming back in real time.
Its only been literally DAYS and its happening.

A few months and presto chango......

You need to take off the TDS goggles.
Trump is trying to save America. And I mean the common Joe.

Nothing could be more obvious. DOGE proves Trumps intentions indubitably.
Its his enemies, RINOs and Democrats that despise Trump derailing the USAID and other gravy trains.

It was all a incredibly lucrative taxpayer rip-off racket with a side order of massive election fraud, and Trump is ending it.
Bad news for the marxist party. Just like when Slow Joe said he could do nothing about the border. Trump closes the border and the left sets about getting judges to overstep and try to stop deprtations. Things are going along well to get things going again after Bidenompics was shown to be a fraud. The only problem is people have short memories and will more than likely put the communists back in power and start the degredation of the country again.
