I'm pretty sure the end times says nothing about California or gender neutral on the birth certificate.

As wackadoo as this stuff is, it's not a trumpet call from the 4 horsemen.

Not every little thing you or I may like is a sign of the apocalypse.

Los Angelas is not the centre of the universe.
It's either Los Angeles or Las Angelas...the gender must be in agreement :)

Lost Angeles I'd call it.

I have at most a decade left here and then I'm packing up and leaving for good.

I don't think there will be much of California left when God decide to release His full fury on the state. Stay tuned.

I can't find a good source that says it's the kid that will be labelled gender neutral, not just the option to give it to the parents.

If anyone has a proper news source I'd be interested.

Born and raised in Lost Angeles. It lost its soul in the crack epidemic of the 80's and never recovered. It never will either. It's done... stick a fork in it.

Lost Angeles I'd call it.

You should have left a decade ago and saved yourself some misery. ;)

Where would you go? Just in case there are others who also reside in Lost Angeles. (Great name for it btw)

You better leave NOW. You will not be able to sell your home, and even if you could they will tax away all your equity, in 10 years.

California's 'Gay Birth Certificate' Bill

August 29, 2014
Now we have this: AB 1951. This bill will change birth certificates to allow for a gender-neutral option for parents. Gay couples will be able to list both of themselves on the child's birth certificate. California recently did away with the terms "husband" and "wife," because of "SSM," and the lead legislator for that measure said that those terms were outdated and biased. I suppose we can infer the same thing for "mother" and "father." (Full CP article)

California Legislature Website (AB-1951 Full Record)

This bill now moves to atheist governor Jerry Brown's desk for signature. Guaranteed he signs. He's not the stomach for morality.
Not to worry. Some believe that California will someday fall off into the sea. As a Christian I get the urge to send Jerrry Brown a life vest filled with Quikrete. But I fight that sinful thinking.

It is more like wishful thinking.

Fortunately, there are places in the U.S. that still possess a good Americana (e.g. the traditional and cultural heritage of the U.S.). I can't tell them I'm from CA, of course, or they'll tar and feather me and run me out of town... lol.

I was fortunate when I escaped from CA 16 yrs ago. The vehicle I drove had been purchased in CO two years prior and I had maintained the registration here. As a result I didn't have a scarlet letter ion the front and back of my vehicle.

Although CO has become highly liberal due to the population centers here on the front range, the western slope is still very conservative. When I moved here I originally lived in Grand Junction and the word California was considered to be profanity by most locals.

Good for you.
Besides, what ever would he do with one more of those?

I've watched the cable show, "Longmire". It's set in Wyoming. I've only seen pictures prior to that. Amazing country. I wonder what its demographic is as far as liberal population and crazy contagion leaching on the wind from Cali?

Wyoming explicitly outlawed homosexual marriage in the late 70's. Must have seen the signs then and later with the publication of the gay agenda blueprint book: After the Ball.

They upped that law a notch in 2003. Last I heard a lawsuit was brought early this year but so far no update that I'm aware of.
Maybe the Tennessee case will send a message to other states in matters of their state Constitutions. I'm thinking Wyoming has the same type thing. Gay marriage outlawed per the state Constitution.

I've heard the phrase, tarred and feathered. Never looked for a picture of it before. Eegads that looks painful. Especially since I've driven past parking lots that are being resurfaced with hot tar. Lord have mercy, can't imagine how anyone could not just endure that, but commit to the act of tarring/feathering someone.

So glad we've evolved as a culture. Praise God.

Well, all I can say is...4 of the 5 cities of the plain got burnt to a crisp one time and this will lead to judgment...such as drought, financial problems and ultimately destruction.....the last sign before God judges for sure.......
