ECC. 3:3.
A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

not going against you Brother Jack, but this is what Jesus has said, and we each
have to find our ground in this area:(when the time comes...
after all, we are called to be 'warriors' for our Saviour and obey His every Command,
when The Holy Spirit moves our Spirits...

If I were the DA of Charlottesville, I would go through every video of the weekend that I could find, identify every single person carrying a weapon of any type, and charge them inciting a riot. The sooner that we get these clowns behind bars, the better off our country will be.

We have Commonwealth's Attorneys. Not District Attorneys.

Welcome to Virginia. We just have to be different about EVERYTHING.

A stiff fine would go a long way to help the local people clean up the mess that the protesters, no, rioters, left behind.

After watching the news this afternoon, it is obvious this is not going a way soon.
Those who are behind this on both sides are digging in.
I am afraid this will only get worse.
Sure glad I live in the wilderness.

The right are devoid of morals, empathy and tolerance. They always chose their side no matter what.
Wrong, it is a lot on the left. While there are some including this extreme faction that are devoid of morals, empathy, and tolerance, it is not really the right. The left are the ones who are devoid of morals (the Gill guy calling those who believe that marriage is between one man and one woman 'wicked'). The empathy is only for those who agree with them otherwise it is hate everyone who does not agree, call them names, send them death threats (this sadly does happen on the other side as well), etc. Tolerance the left has but not the old-school kind but the new school kind which is actually intolerant of any viewpoints and if you disagree with you, they throw the race card, demonize, call you a hater, hate group, etc. Sorry, the right's platform is actually more tolerant than the neo-left's one. Thanks. God bless. :)

I think friendly localities should consider bringing the statues in.

If Charlottesville won't have Lee, I'm sure Waynesboro would.

Good morning from here. Demonstrate teh difference here because you say I have been silly.

The murderer killed five people. The killer murdered five people.

Now whether your definitions differe for killer and murerer or not, you know exactly what is intended; yes, you do.

We should always try to understand each other and not resort to silliness.

After your brillian attempt to be ever so eloquent...........did you not ev er notice the commandment in stone and the commendment now on our hearts states

You shall not kil? If I should say mujrsder, it is killing. If I say kill, it is smusrdfer Perhaps when you speak of a slaughter house it is slaughter, bukt it is murder.

I am going to stick with Jesus........no killing, murder or not.

Possibly because the first time you waxed eloquent, you said all "killing" is wrong.... if we didn't buy that, we were not of God.

Now you have properly changed it to "murder".....

There is a difference.

I'm truly sorry you cannot see the difference between killing and murder. Several of us have tried to explain it, but it is apparently beyond your ability to comprehend.

Let's just leave it at that.

I love drying herbs for the winter. I just cut back the winter savory to start drying it in the hopes the next two warm months give it time to grow more to get more.

One of the things that frustrates me is I can't dry chives. Whenever I try, it dries out and loses its flavor. And, if I bring it in for the winter, it still dries out and dies back.

Oh! I'm sorry. It seems you decided to interrupt this thread for no particular reason, so I thought I'd do the same thing.

Was that what you were doing below when you were assigning blame?

I blame the modern American education system for not teaching him much. Seriously? He can't think of any other famous leaders from Virginia? I bet he's got nothing against the heroes at the Alamo, and yet they weren't Americans. They were Texans. And he thinks Gettysburg says something different than other Civil War battles? And he has absolutely no idea why there were so many more deaths in the Civil War, even ignoring Gettysburg's deaths numbered the same as all the deaths of American soldiers in the whole of Vietnam.

I blame the education system. And really, it seems like a class-action lawsuit waiting to happen.
I blame the education system for teaching the evolution theory which has been the basis for race hatred. So I was doing the same thing as you were, then?

Apparently, you are not willing to leave it at that..... ok.

First of all, how do you come into a thread "abruptly" ? Is there some sort of password, or secret handshake I'm supposed to perform before I can enter a comment? And if my "eloquence" bothers you, I can use words with fewer syllables, if that will help?

Correct me if I've misunderstood you... if a murderer/rapist accosts me or my family, and is about to do grave bodily harm to one or all of us, and I kill that person, you believe I've committed murder? And I should be tried in the courts for murder?

If I am in the military, fighting in a war, and have to kill the enemy soldiers, I am a murderer?

If I am driving down a residential street, and a child runs out in front of my car and is killed, I am a murderer?

In any of these scenarios, I am just as evil and wrong as if I got mad at my boss, and went in his office and beat him to death with his computer keyboard?

No difference, right?

I wish to point out some correction towards my earlier post...

I do blame the educational system, the media, & Hollywood for teaching the evolution theory as a fact.

The reason evolution theory is running amok is because of the idea of micro evolution which is nothing else but borrowed from the Law of Biogenesis where life begets similar life and not just life did not come from nothing which is what some say that is all the Law of Biogenesis mean... like duh... the title should say it all. Genetics... life comes from similar life.

I apologize for using the word "duh" to show the obviousness of what the Law of Biogenesis is to expose the attempts by revisionists in science as we have them in that field as well and not just history, it seems. I have been conned in other areas, and so it is not stupidity, but lacking applying discernment to something we take at face value out of habit.

The 1st & 2nd laws of thermodynamics has Time's arrow pointing downward and not upward as evolution theory proclaim of life becoming more complex as time goes on.

I apologize for improper recollection and poor application of said laws of science.

The 1st Law of Thermodynamics is the law of energy conservation where energy cannot be created nor destroyed; it also can be applied to matter referring to ice, water, steam, and rain as an example. Matter cannot come out of nowhere and cannot be destroyed as the elements, burnt as they may be, do not turn into nothingness when ashes are left behind & smoke is an element too.

When applied to the law of Biogenetics, that means no extra DNA is going to come out of nowhere and be added to the set DNA of what was not there before. You can get variations from what is in the DNA, but no species is going to have something the former species did not have for example... legs.. wings.. BUT they can get different colors of eyes, skin, & whatever that was present before but just a different presentation. One can see that in cross breeding and without crossbreeding as blacks have given birth to albinos.

The 2nd Law of Thermodynamics is more applied to Time's Arrow in disproving the evolution theory's of everything becoming more complex as in evolving from simple organism. The set order of things in life tends towards disorder and are breaking down.

Anyway, the poster "Depleted" was blaming the educational system for one thing whereas I was blaming the educational system for teaching the evolution theory from which I believe most of this race hatred comes from... and what is the cause of such riots between race IMO.

You may resume your regularly scheduled programming regarding the riot in Charlottesville.

Every staged rally with a legal permit should know not to have anybody in their groups brandishing weapons. When in a group, each person is responsible for everybody in that group, because you do not want anyone in that group you are in to misrepresent you..... otherwise, call it off.

When regular protesters were just objecting to the removal of a historical statue for making it a symbol of bigotry & hatred, then those groups that represent bigotry & hatred has no right to join in. Those groups representing bigotry & hatred should have held their own rally apart from the day that protesters were just rallying to object for making the statue of Robert E. Lee the symbol of hatred & bigotry for removing it from the public.

Makes me wonder if local government can prevent trouble makers by, before giving the permit, everyone that is joining the rally has to print & sign their name that they are in that group.

Those on the sidelines are not permitted to join the group when they rally or parade down the streets.

That is the only way to keep troublemakers out so one can hold a rally in peaceful protest.

If a person is willing to take time out to join a group of protesters, then they have time to print & sign their name after showing the driver's license in proving their identity as such before that group or the leader(s) of that group, gets a permit to hold a peaceful protest.

If anybody else has a solution in preventing future riots....be my guest.

And if people on the sidelines are brandishing weapons, surely there are enough people in the protest group that has a cellphone to call the police and record or take pics from their camera phone & send it to the police.

Once we come up with ways to deter violence, maybe, God be willing, there will be less violence when people hold a peaceful protest in public.

We are not to dispute over words when we come together. YOu would know this had you read it in the Word.

From murder to abruptly, very well, and very good. Shalom my friend. Perhaps we should be reading and discussig the dictionary to satisfy your needs. I am not going to go from one word to another.

You could look at the content of the post and figure it out, but that would be an attempt at understanding and not criticizing. It is certain you have been told of your critical nature before.....I will bid the aDieu.

Here's how stupid this is getting!

Do you know that horrible slave owner and confederate officer Frank Rizzo? No?

Well, that's good. A certain amount of sanity in you for not knowing. Truthfully, Frank Rizzo was the last Republican mayor in Philadelphia. Among his many "racists" acts, he was the man responsible for Philadelphia not having race riots at the same time Watts and NYC had theirs. How did he pull that off? He took the cops into the black area of the city where the troublemakers were already gathering to destroy the entire area, and told them, in no uncertain terms, that the cops would shoot the first person to damage anything.

The troublemakers walked away. The residents thanked him.

And that's the most racist thing he did.

That's the horrible horrible racist's statue idiots attacked yesterday. (BTW, it wasn't merely a sign. They already arrested the guy for egging the statue. AND, did our mayor speak up against the hate? Sure he did. He said he didn't like the statue either, but.... How dare he not speak up against racism? Oh, and they had to change the title of this article. This is the name of the link if you search for it on Google. Notice it's been changed since.)

[h=1]Lawmaker Calls for Philadelphia to Take Down Frank Rizzo Statue [/h]
Honestly, it really is coming down to stand up or watch this country go down the toilet.
