You are not biblical. Jesus was addressing those who follow Judaism telling them that sins (like adultery and murder) are a heart problem that Judaism can't address. But you are abusing it to excuse Trump's serial infidelities.
I have said zero about Trump's alleged "serial infidelities," as you say. You are a false accuser.

You most certainly used Matthew 5:27-28 to defend Trump and his serial infidelities.
Nothing I said was in relation to Trump. I was simply correcting your ERROR.

You are still a false accuser, now more than before.

You just perfectly articulated why corrupt people keep getting voted into office. Just think if instead, people expected and demanded their representatives they elect to be of good Christian character?
The moral decay and moral rot in society has deeply effected and corrupted the church. Christians think that we can make America into a Christian country again by voting the right people into office, rather than by evangelization, prayer, fasting, etc. At first we care about the morals of the people we are voting into office (since we see these people as representing our views) but then since we are relying on secular and worldly politics to spread the Gospel and putting all of our hope in politics we start to compromise more and more with the world. We make more and more excuses for immoral behavior just as long as the person supports the correct political views. Supporting the correct political views becomes more important than the actual Gospel. We reach a point where political beliefs start to overshadow the Gospel and our Christianity becomes watered down into merely a cultural political movement.

Nobody said that you vote in people of good Christian character so they can spread the Gospel and make America a Christian nation. I suggest you go back and read some of my comments like the one about Trump lying on t.v. that he is not for giving federal funds for abortions just to get elected then as President he signs a law to fully fund Planned Parenthood.

I just don’t understand why anybody would be surprised about Trump signing a law to fully fund abortions. There’s a reason why the Bible says not to put our trust in rulers. Modern American Christians seem to put a great deal of trust in rulers to the point of twisting scripture to justify unChristian and immoral behavior just as long as the person has the correct political beliefs. Because we have put those political beliefs on a much higher level than scripture and the Gospel.

I do wish that modern American Christians would care about the good Christian character of the politicians that represent us. The fact that we don’t shows the moral decay and moral rot in much of modern American Christianity. I think the problem is that we have made politics into an idol and as a result we have started to seriously compromise our faith. If we didn’t put all of our hope into politics then we wouldn’t have settled for compromising our beliefs and settling for just anybody who pretends that they are on our side politically, no matter how immoral their behavior is.

We are all a priesthood of believers. I don’t understand this post modern separation of “church” and the Christian life. In the past Christians viewed their entire lives through the prism of the Gospel. They supported godly Christian men of good character in every walk of life, not just when it came to pastoring the church. They wanted leaders in every walk of life to have high morals and to be men of God. If Trump is not a Christian then in God’s eyes there’s is absolutely no difference between him and Hillary.

So in your religious mind Christians were the only ones to have any influence on the matter and it was Christians alone that voted for Trump over Cruz?
And who's to say Cruz was the best choice? It takes more than having similar religious beliefs to run a country. No matter how Christian he comes across at the end of the day he's just another politician. And it seems to get anywhere in modern politics requires a lot of dirty behavior. So some delusion that this guy is squeaky clean because he puts on a better show simply reveals how naive you are. I'd rather an honest sinner than a deceptive saint.
God did not see Cruz fit to make him president either. So i suppose all the trash talk you're tossing around is aimed at God as well? Because wouldn't God have had a hand in who gets elected?
God had a hand in seeing Clinton, Bush and Obama being elected. He deemed them fit. Or does that not fit your narrative?

Plug one ear and listen again, the choice was Hillary vs Trump!!!!!
Is that so? I could have sworn I saw Jill Stein, Gary Johnson, the mormon (I don't remember his name) and write in spots on my ballot. If it was just Trump vs. Clinton, my ballot would have only had those two as candidates. You're no different than a liberal saying a vote for a third party was a vote for Trump. That doesn't fit your agenda, though, now does it?

God sees no difference in one sin over another.
Murder is different than driving over the speed limit. Both are sin. Plenty of folks here don't remember every single time they sped. Committing a murder, asking for forgiveness, and then committing another one is a bigger deal. It sounds good in saying sin is sin. That may me true, but that's a bit of a stretch.

You know how in some video games where the longer you fire (or use whatever weapons you have at your disposal) on an enemy, it gradually gets redder? I think we're reaching that point.

Pretty soon, the other shoe is gonna drop and...........well you know the rest.

Are you and "Loyal disciple" aka Loyd, the same person?

If not, are you brothers? Perhaps in the same club? Y'all sound almost exactly alike. Same kind of polygonal logic (can't call it circular), same belligerence when someone disagrees with you....

separated at birth?

I'd say he represents us fairly accurately.
I appreciate your honesty, many use one thing to hold on to with a clenching grip that's mind boggling ,Instead they should accept the bad with what they see as good, accept the whole thing.

Ah sounds like a troll has entered our forms again am not surprised. The enemy uses these tactics to cause divisions and has had a field day. I have never seen such division and disrespect given a leader God has surly appointed. What did Jesus say about stone throwing ?

Jesus also said being angry is murder. So, if Trump were a serial murderer, instead of a serial adulterer, like Jeffrey Dahmer or Jack the Ripper you Trumpets would use the Bible to excuse him wouldn't you?
