Only he's twisting my words.. if you scroll up you will see that I have reference to two different friends on this thread. The one who served in Iraq is a State Trooper and follows some type of Native American religion
The one who served in Afghanistan is atheist.... I guess it hasn't occurred to some of you that there are liberal veterans

Neither of them have ever said anything disrespectful about the flag or the national anthem, they're just not ready to crucify someone for not worshipping a piece of cloth

John McCain is a liberal veteran. So is switftboat Kerry. And what about that dude that decided to become a woman. I think he was a liberal veteran. I could think of more but I'm too Trumptarded right now.

And as I have already stated I would never disrespect the flag or the anthem but if you're that angry because someone won't stand for a song then you might be turning it into an idol.

People can make their own choices....but choices have consequences and Colon pooperneck is probably gonna pay for his childish grandstanding. He should have just played football. But like my avatar says.....common sense is a flower that doesn't grow in everyones garden.

That's cute...... I see what you did there. Cherry Picked a few degenerates in order to push the false narrative that liberals can't be patriotic.

You do it with the left wing Peter Tucker's. As if there are millions upon millions of them waiting in line at women's bathrooms.

Or maybe patriotism means more than a song and a piece of cloth
well why don't you tell us what it means? I don't know where you really stand on a litany of issues cuz all you do is spout off talking points that I used to hear when i watched the news a decade ago.

Patriotism is about loving your fellow Americans.ALL OF THEM ... even those whose political opinions are the polar opposite of your own..every one
Patriotism is seeing an issue that needs to be corrected and working towards a positive solution.
So just because a person protest about an issue with his country or his government then that doesn't mean he doesn't love his country or that he is not patriotic

Patriotism from a left winger<---sitting in a chair mouthing conservatives, burning the flag and refusing to say the pledge or sing the national anthem.....while rioting and burning stores to the ground so as to get the Christmas rioting and thievery done early.....

does that sound about right.....?

I would never burn a flag because that's just disrespectful and unnecessary but at the same time I don't worship a piece of cloth because that's idolatry.
I don't condone rioting or violence but everyone is entitled to peacefully air their grievances

Well it sure doesn't mean less than a song and a piece of cloth. How 'bout honoring the symbols to which you are patriotic toward and working for a solution that does not divide? Maybe I'm just too naive for that kind of uncommon sense...

Well that is very noble of you. Such a spiritual being you are. I bow down to your lofty spirituality. And thanks for clearing it all up. Got milk?
