All well and good, except for the fact what you said actually does contradict scripture. You said: "a tightrope is a one-person-a-time thing, so that means very few will get there. It's also difficult to stay on, and many will fall off meaning even fewer. Neither of those are biblical principles."
Matthew 7:14 sounds like a Biblical principle to me. It contradicts entirely what you said. "Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it."
