No, it can be seen very clearly in the video that Arbery is assaulting these men and he tries to take their gun. It is a very clear cut case of self defense, and it is very easy to see why the judge, whom I would add has been most unfairly maligned, ruled the way he did.

You think an unarmed man is going to go and assault two armed men.

If you have ever taken self-defense course you would know that if you are threatened by someone with a gun your best defense is to rush towards them... one cannot outrun a bullet.

Yes, it happens more than you might think. No one ever said the Devil's children were smart.

Well he could have just talked to the two men like an intelligent human being, or called the cops and then had this matter end a whole different way, but he didn't. He decided to assault them and he lost his life because of his own fault.

Arbery rushed towards the armed man and violently attacked him while trying to take his weapon.

My question is, what took so long to kill the violent attacker Arbery.

I've been in 2 or 3 situations and rushing the gunmen never crossed my mind, they were busy talking .. The knife, I kept my distance backing up until I tripped over a piece of wood a little bigger than a baseball bat then I was ready to play and promptly walked him and his bud back to their car ..

And this situation is about some guy getting shot in Georgia , not the military, that the first thing I thought of was Jussie Smollet .. Too many questions yet..

I know enough to act like I have some sense and respect the police and that they will try you, try to provoke you, to see a little who you are sometimes to make a judgment on you .. The best thing to do is be honest , show respect and humble yourself to their authority , I have plenty of experience .. You're busted, may as well man up and try to cut your losses .. And smile if they take a mug shot and don't try to look all BA ..
