When we're strong we can help people. When we're weak we can't even help ourselves. The fact that some on here can't seem to grasp that very biblical concept is pretty disturbing.

I'll be VERY honest. I will hurt the feelings of 10,000 Snowflakes before I will take a chance on one innocent American being murdered.
Ding ding ding ding. And we have a winner!

Thank you, brother, for sharing some common sense.

Just a comment. I don't know if this is typical or not. My son-in-law was required to have a sponsor. That sponsor had to have the financial ability to support him until he became a citizen. He had to work in the US for four years before he could apply for citizenship.
My daughter had to sponsor her father but he had enough money to support himself while he worked on getting his green card. Takes longer to become a citizen he died before he could get that far.

Took Melisa's father well over two years and lots of money....that's probably where the 13 years comes in cause it isn't cheap to get a green card.
Two families. Sounds like they're related, since they're moving to relatives in Allentown. (Billy Joel song I think. But that Allentown.)

Yeah, sponsorship is a requirement. Some churches sponsor boy soldiers out of Africa.

If I didn't stand against just anyone coming in, and that one American turned out to be your daughter, would you still feel as merciful?

It's not like we do not already know all too well what the religion they live by tells them to do to dogs like us. Remember the tale of the snake who fatally bit the girl and then told her, "Hey, you knew I was a snake when you took me into your home."

This will help you sleep at night. They're more likely to torture and kill their own daughters. Whew! Good, huh?

I might react the wrong way, making too much provision for the flesh, your point Is well taken but I wouldn't want a "do unto others before they do unto me attitude"

I guess I could depend on fleshly mindedness or trust GOD.:)

Did you spend 13 years of your life going through the vetting process, final got approved, hopped the plane, got to your new land, and then were told you weren't welcomed, so you were sent home?

More like what really happened.

Coming to America or any foreign country is not and has NEVER been a right. That judge made a big mistake. Our constitution does not give rights to non citizens. The POTUS has every right as Commander-in-Chief to declare threats to our national security and to suspend travel to the US for any nation or group he deems dangerous to our security.

That said, it is unfortunate and sad for those who wanted to come wishing us no harm. I feel bad for them but you have to break a few eggs to make an omelette.

this is the argument that justifies concentration camps.

by the unilateral decision of one man.

One problem with this poll and many others....Is that the vote now button is too close to the "f" button and may give a false negative result.
Personally I think he's doing a great job. I think people need to put on some big people undies and stop griping about protecting our borders. This ban is temporary while getting takes place on people here and vetting processes can begin on others waiting to get in. This needs to be done right for a change. We should feel safe.

Exactly why we need proper vetting.

concentration camp carries with the the implication of zyclon b, gas chambers and whatnot. Don't see it happening unless democrats do it to the free thinkers in America.

Trump is heading for the title of the most hated leader of the western world. He is also the best recruiting agent for ISIS

Yes. We need to be nicer to the people who cut heads off. Maybe an isis pr offensive is in the works. Maybe we can convince them to stop raping young girls by being nice to them as well.

2 Corinthians 12:9-11New American Standard Bible (NASB)

[SUP]9 [/SUP]And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast [SUP][a][/SUP]about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. [SUP]10 [/SUP]Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with [SUP][b][/SUP]insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ’s sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong.

Biblical teaching is we should rely on Jesus and His strength.

I'd just like to say that you should be glad your relatives immigrated years ago so you could have such a toe hold in America now.. I bet your blood line isn't 100% American your relatives came from somewhere else too you know America the melting pot of the world? Lucky you....

That's all most of the immigrants that are coming into America now want a better place to live and the American Dream - ratio of terrorists to pure want a better life immigrant is low.... Let's punish ALL because we are AFRAID of a few? Really?
