Is it immoral (offensive to God) to limited immigration?

What does God say about immigrants?

“When a stranger resides with you in your land, you shall not wrong him. The stranger who resides with you shall be to you as one of your citizens; you shall love him as yourself, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt” (Lev. 19:33-34).

Exodus 22:21 ESV
“You shall not wrong a sojourner or oppress him, for you were sojourners in the land of Egypt.

Numbers 15:15-16 ESV
For the assembly, there shall be one statute for you and for the stranger who sojourns with you, a statute forever throughout your generations. You and the sojourner shall be alike before the Lord. One law and one rule shall be for you and for the stranger who sojourns with you.”

Of course, Heaven and God's kingdom-to-come have entry requirements.

Is Israel justified to limit who can emigrate there? Are Israel's Jews obligated to become a minority in the only Jewish nation in the world?

As an American and as a Christian I believe that the U.S. SHOULD welcome ALL who want to come on one condition; that they pledge their agreement that they will respect and abide by the U.S. Constitution rather than, for example, Sharia law or some other belief system.

As a Christian, what are your thoughts, please?

I guess there has to be a cap somewhere. What if every person on the planet wanted to move to america?

America is not a Theocracy.

Immorality is making open borders a policy that then permits an influx of illegal aliens, including Chinese nationals, terrorists, and cartel members involved in sex trafficking, and drug smuggling including Phentynal.

Immorality is abandoning national security.

While President Trump supported and assured a border wall construction project, the Pope chimed in and decreed border walls are immoral.

He said this from behind the border wall that surrounds Vatican city and the Holy See.

I came of age during the Reagan years and I LOVED Reagan. I have always been a political conservative. However, as a Christian, I know that I am supposed to follow Christ and do to his will.

I also know that the Biden Regime didn't open our borders because they are caring, loving, people. On the contrary, THOUSANDS are dying in the deserts of Mexico and along the border and Democrats couldn't possibly care less.

I do believe that the U.S. should try to take lemons and turn them into lemonade. It's also true that we don't have unlimited resources, especially when we're laundering $200 billion in "aid" to Ukraine for which a healthy portion of that "aid" works its way back into the pockets of the Washington establishment. With that said, I do believe that Jesus wants us to welcome immigrants and treat them like the brothers and sisters in Christ that they are.

Problem is, as in England? Now Sharia has been allowed. And that is the plan of some... not integration.

Genesis 3

Just because something sounds like a good idea doesn't mean it is. Satan knew Scripture too. But wisdom and insight come from the Lord and the Holy Spirit reveals to us what is actually going on.

The globalists want the US weakened by a variety of ways, including unchecked immigration which would allow people who don't have any loyalty or love for the country to come in and destroy it from within (and also buy votes for the Democrats who want to enforce policies that will also destroy this country in one way or another).

If you really want to help the people trying to illegally enter our country, share the gospel with them, give them a Bible, give them some food and clothing, pray for them and then send them back to their country. Tell them to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior and if God wants them to emigrate, THEN they can apply for legal emigration. God would want us to respect the laws of the land that we're trying to emigrate to. But if not, will not God provide for them in their own country? You know He will.

Does a man have the right to defend his home from someone trying to beak in? Is that unbiblical? If you are being attacked with a sword are you to turn the other cheek? If a thief demands your coat are you required to give them your firstborn too?

Immigration is NOT the issue here, we have laws and processes in place to welcome all who apply and are legally qualified to enter. What we are seeing is something else entirely. It is evil.

You missed this part.

Exodus 12:48 And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to the Lord, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.

Immigrants to Israel were required to be circumcised. That was sort of like applying for citizenship, but had other benefits, and was less reversible. To my knowledge, there is a much less stringent process for immigrating to the US. I agree that only those loyal to the country and its core beliefs should be allowed to sojourn there.

if have been seeing the videos from the southern border, it kind of looks that way.

Every week we had someone asking for work off books because they had no papers.

And if you get caught you go to jail and pay heavy fines. Seen two different places nearby get busted for just that.

My grandparents were legal immigrants. My best friend is a legal immigrant, we always get the giggles cause her birthday is July 4th. Take the idea to your personal home. Would you let any one who wanted to move in do so? As many who wanted to move in? Are you willing to share your children's food, water ? This is an invasion. We in the USA kill the unborn and open the boarders . Wonderful place

Well most of the people coming into the U.S. are Christians. Do you believe that Jesus supports turning them away?

Unfortunately true depending on where you live in the country. Very hard to get treatment. My family telling me they wait for hours in emergency to even get seen.
