We're both on a news forum talking about politics. I figured you enjoyed discussion about it. I just wanted to hear your argument and be open-minded to a counter opinion.

When someone makes statements that I find especially untrue, I don't want to personally insult them or be condescending towards them... I just want to hear where they are coming from so I can understand their point of view better. At worst, I come away understanding the differing opinion but still disagree. At best, you could win me over in the discussion.
Ok what was your question again ?

is it your opinion that everyone who doesn't spend their time publicly accusing her of crimes is "helping to cover her" and "a coward" ?

i think you just want him to be "like every other politician" so it'll be easier to dismiss him. if he was attacking her, you'd be in here in this NICE! Sanders thread posting about how he's just running a smear campaign against one of the most unpopular politicians in the country, so of course he's got momentum; anyone could do that.
but he's not. and he still has a lot of momentum. what's up with that?
Yes I generally give my opinion and I believe its clear he is helping cover Hillarys crimes instead of bringing them to issue.

What about Sanders makes you think he's afraid of attacking Hillary and wanting to win over the Democratic party (with his 30'something super delegates pledged to him)?

well my opinion is that it just might be possible this man has the sort of sense of honor that compels him not to make accusations about a sitting secretary of state or an open investigatio, or to entertain unproven allegations.

i think he feels he has more important things to do & say. after all, if the public needs to hear Clinton being accused of crimes, haven't we already had 8 years of FOX news to cover that? and every GOP candidate and supporter?

i was just talking to my husband about Senator Sanders. we began paying attention to him because our 28 yo son is for him. our son is quite concerned about income disparity, in particular the huge shift in the past decade or so between the top and bottom 1 percent-ers.
(he means worldwide, though, and since Sanders wouldn't be president of the world idk what help he may do there.)

but Mark and i were observing Sanders certainly seems to care about people, in the best 1950-60s democrat style.
now, my gullibility factor is quite high, but Mark's is not.

just tryna stick to the OP :)

truly? well, it made me chuckle anyway :)

if i post from my phone i get a kick out of saying "sent from my Obamaphone" - - but this seemed more topical :)

actually i bought the $200 phone on ebay for $20 because someone thought it was broken. just needed firmware reflashed.
hmm since i gave money to an individual instead of the Sony corporation for it, and i only use data on it when i have free wifi, does that actually make it arguably a socialist phone?

the Citizen's United ruling that officially gave corporations personhood status and created a legal parallel with money and an individual's right to political expression really bothers me.
Sanders is the only candidate who seems to me to share that feeling and want to do anything about it.

No sir, that's capitalism, you bought something cheap, that originally was expensive. You purchased it from an individual, which made the IRS losing money, and now you have set it up to be preying on other citizens' wi-fi...heck, you need to rename that phone to a Trump-phone:p

Yes, and that is in fact communism, taking away individual rights giving them to corporations...comrade Lenin would truly be approving this...lol...

weird how "free stuff" is godless socialist/communist when it's public education,
but "free stuff" is god-fearing conservative democracy when it's a border wall or wi-fi.

??

Nothing is free...everything comes with a price. I wish the debate could shift to what the price for things actually are instead of the usual divisive conversation. If it could go there you would have my attention. What is the price of giving up freedom for security? Have you guys actually considered that?

I'm not intending to give up my freedom for security. Not deliberately anyways, but of course, I could be framed into doing it...

That's what I see ... He is afraid or why else would he not bring up her crimes?

I don't think anyone ever intends to...they think stuff is free. But there is always a cost. I'd rather be a poor free man than a fat slave any day.

According to Hillary Bernie is attacking her viciously all the time...I can't find out what these alleged attacks are, but if SHE says so, it's gotta be the truth...lol...
