German is such a cool language. I remember being in junior high my history teacher taught us a little bit. Out of curiosity what drew you to Germany? If it's too personal you don't have to share

I've seen a lot of the petitions going around. Many of my Facebook friends have expressed a lot of fear over what's going to happen over the next four years. It's rough with their emotions being raw.
And how do those friends think the conservatives felt when Obama was elected... twice? We KNEW what he was going to do to our country, but were not able to overcome the racist vote in his favor.

There wasn't a lot of hand-wringing, crying crocodile tears, and marching in the streets with burning of flags... when your candidate loses, you suck it up, and go on with life.

Those friends that are "afraid" have bought into the liberal, propagandist media's lies and hyperbole and "the sky is falling" mentality. Trump is not a racist, or a "homophobe", or anti-immigrant. What he IS is an American who believes in upholding our rule of law, and stopping the FLOOD of ILLEGAL immigrants.... That should be the goal of EVERY American, in the interest of national safety and security.

They should just give the man the benefit of the doubt, and go on with their lives...

The general manager of the place I work for went to Spain and when he came back he sent out an email to all employees that we may complain about things in our country, but here in the US we are blessed to have the freedoms we do and we take them for granted. Instead of realizing it's a right we need to take a step back and notice it's a privilege to go to work, school, spend time with friends and family as we do. Many countries don't have them

well here in many ways we have more rights than people in the USA but that doesnt make up for the rigged system they have here

Hey Demi777
I was born in Germany but moved to the US when I was still a baby. ( dad was in the US air force) . I have returned a few times and had a pleasant experience each time . Besides the political stuff is their any other reasons you would not recommend folks going there ? The folks there always treated me nicely and Germany's long history and architecture is so interesting.
I do plan on going back in a few years . I still need to get a handle on the language though . For some reason I only remember the more colorful words.
Blessings
Bill

Which state did you go to? We have a lot of crazy folks here like the older guys...no just no.
Generally most germans here are a pain in the bum. they are more rejecting than any other mentality ive ever met. Especially when its bout ppl my age. ppl look down on us so bad and got their nose high that you could think your in England (no offence meant!! lol)
Theyre nice folks but the best is the food and the houses etc. Churches..dont wanna go to the churches. you prolly already know bout the mess I got with german pastors lol

Bill Clinton was taking dumps on public property as a young man living in a tree protesting the Vietnam war. He went on to defraud the military and conceal his anti-military activities overseas, and his counterfeit intentions for later military service. See Young Clinton @ 1:40
