If conservatives would have protested when Obama was elected (twice) then we would have been labeled racists, homophobes and haters. I am really sick of the double standard in this Country and I am also really sick of all this division!
We already are labeled that way.

It may have intensified in the hours since the election.

Not all the black community is against D. Trump. Just saw this on youtube. (didn't see this on CNN.,wonder why??)

My girlfriend is black & she didn't vote for Shrillary.

From what she could gather, her parents did.

She said to me "I'm sure glad I can talk with you about this...", meaning she's glad she can talk to me about her political views freely.

This orange Oompa Loompa will never have my respect. And for the record, he didn't win the popular vote.

The popular vote doesn't get presidents elected. The popular vote as of last night was 47.7- 47.5. So she still isn't winning that by a landslide. Your attitude is hardly Christlike.I disagreed with Obama on every issue but I prayed for the protection of the president and his family and for the right decisions to be made. Brother, you need to adjust your attitude.

Trump won. It's time to except it and move on. I'm happy to give Trump a chance but as a US citizen, I will fight ANY socialist policy that comes out of Washington DC.
No safe space needed here.

Lol, I know how intense this election has been. I dreaded logging onto Facebook sometimes. I never knew how many political memes would appear in my news feed. I think my American friends and relatives actually posted less, lol

I think what is really telling though is how little most Canadians knew of Benghazi and other Hillary scandals ( at least the ones I know and talked to). I don't think most really understood the ramifications of the private email server either. To add to that, our media kept replaying all the seemingly anti- Canadian statements Trump made. I think a lot of Canadians fear that Trump will be bad for our trade relations. We rely so heavily on the US that we'd be financially ruined if our trade deals were affected. I was a bit nervous of Trump for these reasons but still preferred him to Hillary.

My FB is still rocking! Both for and against. There was one really awesome video interviewing people who had worked with Trump - women, Latinos, and one place where a black woman asked how he was going to create jobs, and he brought her to the front and gave her a job. She was crying - a professional woman.

Anyway, I'm still seeing this horrible "we're going to hold everything that was said against him, right or wrong, forever!" These are Christians! Have they forgotten a basic of the Bible is to forgive? Yes, we need to right wrongs,, but until Trump does something wrong, they have no right to hold anything against him.

Sadly, Trump was acting in the debates, or so I think having seen him as a reasonable, intelligent person since he was elected in his speeches. He won "Who can act like the biggest......... to be president?" Hillary, and her cold fury, lost. But for Canadians as for me, we only saw media clips, plus the debates of him acting like an intensive boor. I blame the media, but Donald did put one over. Fortunately, it was Hillary that made me see the light, with her "tragic late term abortions." NOT!

The result of this, is sore losers who are now trying to lobby electors and send petitions to them to change their vote to Democrat. It was all over my FB today. In a few more days, I am just going to discuss the meaning of "sore loser" with these people. I know I will lose them as friends, because these people are hysterical and have already deleted many long time friends.

Politics is important, but it should never divide friends. Nor should a legitimately elected president result in rioting in the streets which is still going on!

Gays are really angry, but hey! I have see clips of Trump waving rainbow flags and hugging militant gays. He is not going to change gay marriage, is my thought, but even if he deals with abortion only, as far as social concerns go, the US will be miles ahead in claiming back the US for God. Oh and no men in the women's washrooms, please, Mr. Trump?

[TD="class: _51m- vTop _5ep6"]These people say "he's not my president". Newsflash people, you live in America, one had to win and one had to lose. That's how voting works. Just because things don't go your way doesn't mean you should disregard it. Just suck it up and hope for the best and help the community

I thought this was interesting,
Barbara Res who at 33 years old became the first woman to ever be put in charge of supervising the construction of a skyscraper when Donald Trump hired her in 1980 to oversee the trump tower construction.

I've seen a lot of the petitions going around. Many of my Facebook friends have expressed a lot of fear over what's going to happen over the next four years. It's rough with their emotions being raw.

Trump has long preferred women in those positions, rather than men.

A good chance for them to grow up some, perhaps?

One reason people are scared of a trump presidency is because he will no longer hand out free money that people so much rely on. But America thrives on strong work ethics.

Yes. It's getting so bad with the Entitelists that they cannot even think for themselves anymore. They are now even having to be told "how" to feel, and "what" they are supposed to fear. They honestly don't seem to know, without being told, what to "know."
