Simply the best, like a father figure who will pop a laser in the toasters and merrily FTL jump to the next orbit and never spill his drink.
Absolutely. That and he really had the best staff who would've been far more efficient on a 5 year mission of exploration.

I mean who would you rather have on the bridge? Chekov or Gaida?

In Engineering, Scotty or Tyrol?

No. Contest.

BSG cannot be explained madam, it must be experienced. :D
The bookshelf that lines the top of my desk has 27 books and a complete series of Battlestar on DVD.

Such is my reverence for the franchise.

Madam was for dramatic effect. Battlestar Galactica. *NOT THE 80's SERIES!!!! It stars Edward James Olmos.

Yes, stay away from the 80's series. Total snorfest. Totally fit for MST3K mocking.

Yes, but I would argue it's geared toward a more sophisticated scifi palate.

So you would probably like it less :p

Yes, but the effects, story line and characters are like watching a motion picture with every episode. Really good.

True, true, true, true.

It came out the same year as Lost. They tried to do the same thing in that sense. BSG did it better.

It ended better too come to think of it.

Didn't know that. The ending was amazing. Man, I'm due to start the whole series again.

Yeah, I'd wager that franchises like Game of Thrones and House of Cards exist because LOST and BSG proved that high production-value shows written like miniseries could sustain a profitable fan base.

BSG was the gift that kept on giving. I started again last week, actually. Better than I remember it being the first time.

Well, thank you boys for explaining it to me. This gal is super exhausted as having put in over 50 hours this week at work and I still have one more day to go. I had to turn in my portion of payroll with no complaints from arrogant salesmen or their managers, Woo-hoo!

Im headed to bed, goodnight and hopefully we can chat some more later ;)

More people died in foreign embassies when Bush was in office but it was not considered a big deal.

As for Trump's words, consider this:

Nice of you bring in someone that isn't the topic of conversation. Nice of you to also deflect the question. I'll ask again. It's a simple question, really. Requires a yes or no answer. Hillary's actions have gotten people killed. Can the same be said with Trump's words? You're a smart man. Surely you can answer, can't you?
