Johnson was out with Sterling's gf.

Sterling was married. His gf knew that he was married which makes her a woman of loose character. ( Sterling too of course )

His gf was hanging out with Magic Johnson, someone who was notoriously a womanizer.

That led to an arguement between Sterling and his gf.

The recording was of very good sound quality. Magic Johnson was a perspective buyer of the team. If the owner gets into a scandal involving racism, which he had problems with in the past, the team could sell for much less money and wallah!!

Johnson would be there for the cheap team. Saving the NBA by having another black owner proving the NBA is not racist.

That's how Johnson is involved.
AND THATS A PROBLEM HOW? im anti racism because its against God's will

Please show me one racist statement I, or anyone else has made here.

Show me where anyone has supported what Sterling said or that anyone has said what Sterling said was not racist.

Please tell me where you are getting all of these racist statements from.

I mention Magic Johnson and I am a racist?????

I think there might be a racist here....and it ain't me.

Sterling's an immoral racist. So is Al Sharpton. Earvin Johnson Jr. was just immoral sans-racism.

But SonInMe has a valid point that Earvin (net worth $500 million) has been talking for awhile that he's interested in purchasing the Clippers.

The circumstantial evidence sure does look like he setup Sterling. He wants to buy the clippers from Sterling but Sterling won't sell so he slips next to Sterling's mistress and stirs the pot and can't believe how well it's paid off for him.

But maybe it wasn't deliberate. Maybe. I don't have a dog in the fight so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. It's just a coincidence Earvin Johnson was spending quality friend time with Sterling's mistress during the exact period he was trying to figure out how to buy the Clippers. It's just a coincidence.

And what about Al Sharpton. He's blown ten thousand times more virulent racism than Sterling has and Al did it over decades. *cricket* *cricket* *cricket* You're dead silent on that issue.

Sterling must pay the ultimate price for a single phone call but Al doesn't have to pay anything for decades of racist mongering. Got it. And you're calling us fruit loops Christian "Juggalo."

Pull the log out of your own eye, maybe then you'll be able to see the speck in someone else's.

lmbo this site is full of fruit loops do you have proof of this no i bet you dont all you know is what you hear and thats called hearsay heres the facts THERES NO PROOF ABOUT MAGIC AND THERE IS PROOF OF DONALD STERLING THEREFORE HE MUST PAY THE CONSEQUENCES

its better than having bush in office again, now he was a TERRIBLE president, as well as its better than Romney, I was very sketchy about both but voted for Obama because I already knew and know how he operates

Mormon does not mean more than one wife....

Romney has more than one wife?

Bush was not a conservative but he has more intellect and integrity in his little finger than all of our current president's staff, associates and self, times ten.

You should read and understand political interactions from differing sources and not just the Huffington Puffington Post and MLSD.

IRS scandal

Benghazi

Failed economy

Proven liar on Obamacare...oh I mean affordable health care act.

supporter of abortion and gay marriage.

promoter of the proven lie of global warming..ooops, I can't keep it straight, when proven wrong the name is changed....climate change.

To believe in this president is either delusion, bigotry or an admittance to being a secular marxist that despises the US of A.

Bush supported government solutions and acted more like a democrat, like his dad giving into tax raises, and W was hated MORE by the left when he went left. It did not matter what Bush did he was hated because of the ''r'' by his name by...

the tolerant left.

The facts proved that Bush tried to appease the left and proved his true anti-conservative nature. For that he was vilified by the press only to elect the most teflon president ever.

If you want a true revelation from the last 6 years, its been this.

There is no fourth estate anymore.

Oh, thank you for clarifying. I don't believe he should be punished by the government for exercising his freedom of speech in a manner that I don't agree with (especially as a non-government employee having a private conversation with another) but then I'm not a Democrat so actually believe in the principle of free speech.

That said, obviously people can choose who they want to associate with and it appears the NBA no longer wants to associate with him... lol. .

There is too, it's called the Internet... lol. Unfortunately, the Democrats are trying to push SOPA, PIPA, TPA, etc... and control it to the point it no longer can serve that function.

There is no fourth estate anymore.

I believe someone has stepped up and either is going to buy the Clippers or will soon. Last I heard the deal was dependent on Sterling not suing the league as well.

But do you think Al Sharpton should be banned from MSNBC for life for perpetuating a thousand times more racism than Sterling ever perpetuated?

The thing about private sector associations is they can cancel your membership if you violate their terms of membership. And they should be able to do that. The NBA did, so a sale would be best at this point.

His comments were definitely racist imo and I think the word is improperly applied in today's culture. For example, I get improperly called it for wanting to limit immigration or pointing out the serious problems that need to be reformed in demographics other than my own. But Sterling's comments were racist imo and while I fully support an interpretation of the first amendment that strongly protects free speech; that doesn't translate to a private association being unable to cancel the membership of a member who violates their terms of membership for to do so would be to rob the freedom of the association itself.

I think of Rachel Jeantel when I think of Sterling. He's one creepy <fill in the blank>, Lolol.
