Sorry but my answer to that is because we don't want socialism in this country. We don't want abortion on demand, the WH lit up in support of gay marriage, trans bathrooms and the "green new deal" tax grab. And that's just for starters. They're just warming up. They want to abolish ICE, get rid of borders and cops and have strict gun control. They want free healthcare for illegals. If you don't vote for Trump that is what you are voting for. Free, free, free, but who will pay for it? The same ones that always pay for it. So I hope people will think and PRAY about who they should vote for. Because we are voting for the very soul of this country.

What's police brutality. As A USAF security police officer I was taught to apprehend trespassers by any means necessary and if any suspects tried to escape, SHOOT TO KILL. I was recruited by several police agencies to join their force.
I don't think that kind of training is appropriate for guardians of the bill of rights or servants of the communities they work for.

Don't you oppose big pharma, big oil, big banking and wall street? Regulations are necessary. Air and water pollution, worker and consumer safety as well as food for under privileged children at school for example. I have issues with both sides so I refuse to join either. The election is not democratic and neither is the democratic party. I abstain. The book of revelations is the future. The known world is doomed. I vote as if Jesus is looking over my shoulder. I will not attempt to choose between four sides I oppose. Republican, Democratic, Marxist or Fascist and 3 of 4 are nationalistic by nature. History repeats itself. If you don't believe it read your Bible, all of it!

I HAVE looked at each party's actions. Especially the President's policy actions. And although the man has serious personal flaws, he has been the greatest President of my lifetime in terms of actions.
Third parties not only don't offer a better platform, but is a guaranteed wasted vote.
If a true Christian understood just how wicked the democrat agenda is, NO restriction on abortion, and EVEN consensual murder of the baby AFTER birth between mother and DR., forced recognition and compliance of service to homosexuals and transgenders, and a whole host of other social and economic issues, THERE CAN BE NO WAY HE/SHE COULD VOTE DEMOCRAT.
Its... Just... that... simple DON'T fool yourself in thinking they want to help you. They are interested in ONE thing. FULL authoritarian control over every aspect of your life.

You are NEVER, EVER going to find the perfect candidate or perfect party agenda. WHEN Jesus comes we will have that. UNTIL then you DO have a responsibility to to choose your leaders based on what actions they will take because of the sacrifices made by many others.
Why do you get to abstain from this responsibility and yet enjoy the rewards of a more free society that has given you every conceivable need, and MOST wants?
Are you are any meds? STOP bashing "Big" pharma. Do you drive a car, use public transportation, use anything plastic, eat food transported by "big" oil? STOP bashing oil companies. etc.... You use all these services and products you rail against. Of course there needs to be regulation, and we have that. Understand though the more regulations we have, the more you will pay, and the more drag on the economy we will have.
You DO understand that these "big" companies are comprised of "small" people? And they have families, want clean air, and clean water, and medicines, and 401ks, etc...

As I said above, you vote either way. I don't know how one can be conned into voting. If you know the issues and you vote according to what you believe, you weren't conned. As I said, it's a vote for the soul of the country and our freedoms. Know the issues and vote accordingly. If you don't the vote will go to the other side. Simple.

Nope, both political parties have displayed for the entire country to see that they are not living up to their own standards.
The GOP can be bragging all the way from now and way down in the 2020 campaign about how many lives they’ve saved, and how many genders they have abolished while they have been cutting taxes for the richest part of the nation, but that does not unite the country.
The Donkeys are so irrational and authoritarian that I won’t vote for them either.

But you are in effect voting for the donkeys by abstaining or voting 3rd. We can delude ourselves all day long that one of those 2 parties aren't going to win, but guess what ... ONE OF THOSE @ PARTIES ARE GOING WIN!

In all seriousness, who is this imaginary, wonderful 3rd party candidate that deserves siphoning your vote to enable a donkey to win? And how is this wonderful person going to make a difference? What is this wonderful 3rd party candidates policy positions?
We shouldn't be willy nilly, with righteous pride voting for someone, ANYONE, just to make a statement. Our votes matter.

Most people I've known for the last 15 years or so buy drinking water now because the tap water I grew up drinking has become unfit to drink. I regret getting a bank account and believe the beast will be in league with the bankers. I rode a bicycle until my knees wouldn't take it any more. And my meds come from the VA my non profit insurance provider.

I don't have a car or motorcycle any more. I take a bus 2-3 times a month because it's necessary to pay bills and go shopping. I don't have a TV or a phone. Social Security and the VA made me get a bank account. They won't pay by mail any more. I vote on issues like schools funding, bond issues etc. I've lost faith in political parties. I'm adopted so I am more opposed to abortion then most conservatives. I have and have and have had several guns. I worked many years as an auto mechanic and specialized in emissions controls systems I'm pro hybrid temporarily with hopes that fossil will become obsolete within my lifetime. No one is going to unite the country, that isn't the gov'ts job. That is our job. But this country is fractured because the belief systems are now so far apart thanks to the progressives. Yes, the GOP are saving lives from abortions and that's nothing to scoff at. (not being sarcastic) And if you think the GOP is about the rich getting richer, put in the progressives and socialism and see what happens. They'll tax the rich so much they'll simply leave the country. And then where are we? Someone of the two parties will win, and I ain't fixin' to lose all my freedoms, have abortion on demand and infanticide and live under socialism. I do hope you change your mind.
