PennEd makes a false accusation against me, I tell the truth about where I stand, PennEd then makes further false and totally baseless accusations again, and I'm the bad guy.

That's right 7 seas, you can't make this stuff up.

Proverbs 19:5 - A false witness shall not be unpunished, and [he that] speaketh lies shall not escape.

Proverbs 19:9 - A false witness shall not be unpunished, and [he that] speaketh lies shall perish.

Exodus 20:16 - Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

Ephesians 4:25 - Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.

It's sad that the sickness of the world has so deeply permeated the membership here.

Some more Scripture for ya buddy:
Matthew 6:2-4 New King James Version (NKJV)
2 Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory from men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. 3 But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,4 that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m no better than anyone here, but it seems like two of our fine gentlemen participating in the exchange of opinions here is not handling each other very well.

Why don’t you two just stop addressing each other?

I apologize, but if someone sits there and spouts off blatant lies and falsehoods about me, I'm not going silently into that goodnight.

Maybe you didn't read the Wall St Journal report that one week before the Obama admin left office (of which Frotman was a part) they submitted a report saying they had "overstated" student loan repayment numbers. When the new numbers were updated, the DoE had inflated the repayment numbers by 99.8%. If you're wrong by 99% , that pretty much isn't an error. It's a cover up. Nobody paid any attention to it because of Trumps inauguration.
you're not accurately quoting the article, and misrepresenting the facts.

When The Wall Street Journal analyzed the new numbers, the data revealed that the Department previously had inflated the repayment rates for 99.8% of all colleges and trade schools in the country.
it's not that the repayment rate ((% of students who have repaid their loans)) was inflated "by" 99%
it is that 99% of the colleges & universities in the study had their reported repayment rates inflated.

the revision was a result of a programming error - someone writing computer code for the DOE had made a mistake, which was caught and fixed - how good it was that this was corrected. the correction happened to take place under the Obama administration.

Of about 1000 colleges studied - about half of the students failed to pay even one dollar on their loan within 7 years. You and I will pick up the tab on this fine administration's work which constitutes about a tenth of US debt.
this is not accurate representation of the article either.

the DOE's data covers over 4,000 schools, not 'about 1,000' and the revised numbers show that a little over 1,000 of the schools have repayment rates of less than half -- which means less than half of the students of those universities had been making payments on their loans.

it is also not an accurate statement of fact:
national debt is ~ 22 trillion. total federal student loan debt is ~ 1.4 trillion. projected models for what will be unpaid is about 40% of that = ~ 0.6 trillion. 0.6 is 1/37th of 22.2, not about 1/10th.

thank you for the article;
even though you didn't give me a link and you misquoted it and you misrepresented it, i found it, and the article itself was informative.

I apologize too, but if somebody is going to tout how awesome they are because they gave $10,000 to people They are terrified aren’t making as much as a ceo , while having a six figure income themself, then call ma a liar for telling the truth, I can’t silently ignore them while simultaneously responding to them in a thinly veiled way.

Does that sound like an apology? Yeah. I didn’t think so either.

not sure which 'fine administration' you are putting blame on -- but if Joe Schmo and Sally Smith don't even bother to pay $1 of their personal debts, whose fault is that again exactly???

@RickyZ and @PennEd , perhaps you guys should utilize the ignore feature for a while before your argument forces me to do something since neither of you is innocent in the escalation of your dispute.

I will plead the 5th your honor.
We got 6 months to just the start of the primaries!!

Something tells me you are gonna be busy, and this spat will seem tame by the time the general rolls around.

Sorry to occupy your time on political garbage. I, for one, will cool my jets.

Believe me that I'm not looking forward to the election season again. Invariably the political debates can end up making the BDF look civil during that cycle.

Funny how a guy can post nothing but scripture, without comment, and still be hit for being wrong.

You sir, are a liar and a fraud. Adios for real.
Yes, because you could be using that Scripture out of context...

Ricky, I want to unreservedly, with no demand for reciprocation, say I’m sorry for the things I said to and about you.

Not sure if you were here to see the absolute Satanic attack that took place a while ago, but it certainly brings into focus who our true enemy is. Kinda like squabbling over a football game while nuclear weapons are about to land.

Have a blessed night brother.

I suppose you could read into any report what you wish. This is the report I was representing.

https://www.forbes.com/sites/tomlindsay/2017/01/31/__trashed/#976a8055cc21

I think the important thing to remember is that the initial report was "corrected" one week before Obama's administration ended (of which you gave him credit). This is more of the same kind of tactic Obama used on much of his "bad news" - tell it on a Friday or wait it out till nobody notices or even leave it to the media to not report it at all.

That said, my initial post was in response to RickyZ concerning a "fox watching the hen house" with Cameron at DOE. I was pointing out it was not much better under Obama and not to you or your opinions.
