This John 10:27-28 panel was designed in June also; a personal fave :)

I asked @MegMarch for permission to use her face on an angel,
and she not only graciously okayed the idea, but was very
encouraged by the verse I chose to go with it. I am always
moved when people are deeply touched by my efforts, and
am grateful for the gifts God has abundantly blessed me with

May profound peace and great joy ever accompany your world walk

June 26, 2020; I designed this Psalm 130:1-3 panel in response to a thread where
the raging controversy was the color of Jesus' skin  I was quite pleased with
how well it turned out, especially considering how quickly it came together :)

June 27, 2020; I am grateful to @TamLynn for trusting me enough
to give me permission to use her face for one of my angels :D

I changed the font from what it was in previous site postings ;)

I began designing this 1 Timothy 2:1-4 panel July 5, 2020 :)

I had such a hard time finding the right face for my angel,
but completed it just now, and am finally happy with it :D

I began designing this Ephesians 1:13-14 panel July 6, 2020 :)

It started out looking more like this:

I was not happy with that face, and eventually used
Nicole Kidman's in honor of @Ruby123 's homeland :D

The top one is much better than the second one.

I began the design for this Revelation 22:16-17 + 20 panel on July 7, 2020 :)

I am really happy with the direction my panels have taken since I started constructing my own angels :D

I began designing this Romans 8:15-16 panel July 8, 2020 :)

I was not having a good day that day, and had such trouble finding the right
elements to fill in the inner space after spending so much time getting the
figure and face to my liking, but doggedly kept at it and was finally successful :D

I began the design for this Psalm 8:1-4 panel on July 10, 2020 :)

I was listening to @SoulWeaver 's musical compositions at the time, as
I have been doing a fair bit since she put the link to
her youtube channel
in her auto-siggy ;) Her rendition of the same song inspired the verse choice :D
If you have not heard any of her musical Psalms yet, you are really missing out! :)

I began designing this Matthew 5:3-12 panel July 15,2020, as a result of
participating in a
fun thread @TamLynn started where we were to replace
one word of a movie title with the word "bacon." :D I was a major contributor
to that thread; the genesis for using Marilyn's face on an angel began
here:)
See? I showed the beginning stages of the panel design too :) Since I wanted
to include all of the verses in this "blessed are... " part, I chose to animate the
text in a scrolling type of fashion so it would not be really small or crowded :)

Please excuse me for editing to just this :) Just to say:
Jesus also said in Matthew 5:9 that peacemakers would be called sons of God.

very cool Magenta!!!

(all your "stuff" is great ... just commenting on the new display ... the various verses you were able to embed )
Thank you very much, reneweddaybyday! :) Do you recognize Marilyn's angelic face?:giggle:
I did not ... but now that you have pointed that out ... yes I do. I always enjoy your artwork when I see it in threads (even if I don't comment). :)
Thank you once again, reneweddaybyday :) If you are a fan of Marilyn's, you may enjoy the
tribute vid I posted with the panel when I finally got it onto my Scripture Art thread here :)
thanks for the link ... I'll have to check out the thread. such beautiful work. I am not so artistically inclined. I am always amazed at the ability of artists to start with a blank canvas and end up with an image that started as an idea.

My oldest sister was artistic. She used to make paper dolls for me and two of my sisters. She'd draw the dolls and design outfits. We'd color the outfits. That was back in the day. Nowadays they've got stuff like this: paper dolls My granddaughters have some of those. :)
It is interesting you mention paper dolls! My sisters and I used to play with paper dolls also, with cut -out clothes you could mix and match, and the construction of my angels often reminds me of that as I try on different looks for the figures, including hair, eyes, mouths, and garb :D In fact, each panel goes through a similar process! My designs are digital collages ;) I start with a blank slate each time, and begin adding things, trying this and that, using elements (individual pieces such as flowers and butterflies etc) sourced from the web from sites that make such things available for personal use :) I make many alterations and adjustments to each element as I add it, with the aim of of bring it into balance with the overall image :D PS~ I brought this here so we would not derail the other thread ;)

These two panels (Romans 10:4 and Isaiah 12:2) were designed around the middle
of November, 2020. Yes, they are very similar, which caused some problems when
I mis-named one of them, then somehow lost the original of one, and had to redo
a whole lot of work on both of them :censored: These things happen :ROFL::unsure::whistle::giggle::geek:
