Silverfish...

Also I think we need further specification as to how many fish we can list in one post because I think Seoul was snapped unfairly ;)

You didn't specify if they had to be aquatic right?
You found a fishbug! :D They look more silvery at least. Monkfish don't look like monky at all.

Dory!

Does that count?

I mean, we're supposed to name fish and Dory was a fish's name...

Just in case, to make this post officially legal, I think Dory is a blue tang.
Makes sense to me so I'm going with Flipper.

I still remember that film relatively well...I seem to recall the guy Elijah Wood stays with (his uncle?) crushing a can on his head and well...it didn't work for me...at all ;)

I have seen someone strong enough to break cans open bare handed though.

are you calling dolphins fish now? anything that swims in the sea? or rivers?

huh.

I take it some peoples natural history /scientific education is not very deep. But then classifcations are not set in stone and you'd probably get some unbelievers banging on about evolution.

well anyway. If so then my favourite fish has not been mentioned yet. CRAYFISH

yum

You must be referring to the 1996 version which I have not seen. I was thinking about the 1963 version with Chuck Connors and Luke Halpin. I enjoyed the TV version as well. No crushing of the cans on head in either the original film or TV version.

Actually, dolphins are a mammal and not a fish. I guess I get a 'snap' for implying that Flipper is a fish. Or is that a 'snip' ?

Actually, yuck. I do believe that while Crayfish may be considered seafood they're actually crustaceans. In the US southern states they are called crawdads. I had 'em once. Kinda slimy. Might be good with tabasco though.

Alas I have displayed my "age-bias" lol. I was born in '91 :p

I might check that out at some point then because old movies usually seem to be a little "cleaner" somehow. I hardly watch movies anymore for many reasons but I appreciate knowing it exists lol.

As these are the same fish going by different names the demerit is a snip instead of a snap.
