The funny thing is, I hate romantic comedies. I'd much rather watch action, sci-fi, and martial arts films.

It's okay Seoul, no one can take away your lady card, either. ;)

(What other womanly things do you hate, eh?)

Sorry Grace, answering your question would require having to put down my Uzi... and "Baby" never leaves my side.

I don't wear jewelry, or heels... very often at all. Both interfere with my mad ninja skills.

Going to the salon for anything...hair cuts, fake nails, tanning...no. I cut my hair myself, I grow my own fingernails, and I don't mind being blindingly white.

Also...domestic-y type things women are "supposed" to like doing...I'm domestically challenged.

And I like guns.

Manicures - I think they hurt and I can do a great job myself, thank you
Pedicures - I don't like other people touching my feet/legs
Heels - Death trap. Though, I do want to wear them more just because.
Shoes in general - I'm not a shoe person. I really don't care. I'm a purse girl, though
Chick flicks - Just...no. Action movies are where it's at.
Fixing my hair - Ain't nobody got time fo' dat

I don't wear heels (only on special occasions, dates), I don't have a collection of shoes, I don't take forever to get ready for a date, I don't excessively say the word 'like', I naturally get along with guys more than girls and have had more guy friends then girl friends in the past. I've had some of the best times with my guy friends. I hate going shopping with girl friends. I like playing old Nintendo games. I don't get my nails done.

No salons except for the once a year haircut
No make up
Rarely wear heels and if I do they're only 1-2 inches
Rarely ever dress up
Rarely fix my hair
I love being in sweats :/
I can get ready in 10-15 minutes
I don't stare at myself constantly in mirrors lol
I keep my skin covered O:
I dislike sexy photo poses... Makes me feel weird
I only carry a wallet and my work bag when I go to work
I hate shopping... All shopping including groceries lol

Come on, godly Christian man of a reasonable age and maturity. What are you waiting for? Snap her up while she's available. :)

Hmm... it seems to me most of whats being said here is the same things. It doesn't really do much for the validity of the 'woman card' if all the women are denying the same things. It would seem the concept of the woman cards standards are misunderstood if all the women are of the same mind in denying all the same areas.
And really, much of this stuff is pretty normal for women anymore.

I'm not even saying i know. But if all the women are saying the same thing, how is that going against standard? Sounds as though the way women perceive the standard vs the reality of the standard is different. Personally, i think this 'woman card' standard is more of a Hollywood/marketing standard, but the actual day to day woman, the real women that we all interact with on a day to day basis, don't fit into the Hollywood/marketing standard (thankfully). So, i suppose the challenge here is are women going to define a 'woman card' by Hollywood/marketing standards or by 'real day to day women' standards?

Pitch Perfect made me want to claw my eyes out and put ear plugs in my ears. Not so much the singing, but how much garbage there was in it. I couldn't stand it. Do you REALLY have to cuss every 3 or 4 words?? Why you gotta be so crude?

It makes Jesus cry. It almost made me cry.

There's also super popular show among girls, called Pretty Little Liars. HATE IT!

Rachel mentioned heels. I'm with her. Also...really any type of dressy shoe I can't stand to wear more than 10 minutes. Even 10 minutes is pushing it.

It's all about things that are iconically (or humorously) feminine, just like the male counterpart. So while you may get a man card for growing an incredible beard, a woman could get points on her woman card for learning to walk very gracefully in heels.
A man could get major points for building a house, and a woman gets tons of points for giving birth. ;)

Also, I know PLENTY of women who love chick flicks, are shopaholics, and could probably do a triathlon in 4 inch stiletto heels. Just because the majority of the women HERE don't do or enjoy those things doesn't mean that the "woman card" is that unrealistic.

To prove my point, I'll throw in some stuff that Could earn me points on MY woman card:
I can cook
I have sewn my own clothes before, and yes they were perfectly presentable. :p
Though I don't prefer walking in heels, I can walk very gracefully in them when I do wear them.
I enjoy wearing skirts and dresses. In fact I wear them 95% of the time

and back to the OP. Things that could get my woman-card revoked:
i despise shopping for clothes/accessories. I despise it with a fiery burning passion.
I rate the majority of chick flicks as awful.
I have never had a professional pedicure.

But i never said these things didn't exist. I said
the actual day to day woman, the real women that we all interact with on a day to day basis
, not just CC women. Much of what i see listed here seems to apply to a large number of women in general is my point.
