I actually like doing minor renovation projects. Mostly flooring, and mainly the part where you pull everything up. I tore up about half of the kitchen floor in my old house when we decided we were going to put different flooring down. It was really weird, too, because there was flooring on top of flooring when we tore it up. A previous owner just decided not to bother with tearing up the old stuff and laid the new flooring on top. Then again, it was just one of those vinyl floors.

I really need to learn that. I can barely open the "tear here" packages (seriously! Those things NEVER work.) let alone open a pickle jar without asking for someone's help.

I love housing projects too! I love flooring, painting, sanding, hammering...

I have taped and floated ceiling sheetrock, textured and painted over it, all by myself. Built a deck (with help), laid flooring, grouted tile...

That's sounds like fun I wanna buy like a fixer upper house someday and remodel it. Sounds like fun

Am I the only one who taps the edge of the pickle jar on the counter and twists it right open? I do not science, so I must explain this phenomenon with MAGIC.

I do that too . Has a 75% chance success rate for me. I'm just one where I use my muscles poorly... Like... I do not know how to throw a ball far... And no... I don't have wimpy arms...

well I know this is regarding the lady card...but as a male I cannot comment too much....but I will post in regards to my man card

Things that would gain me points on man card
- catch insects invading household
- bite my nails
- Superhero action films are the way forward

Things that would have my card revoked, cut in pieces and burnt...
- Most of my movie loves are chick flicks/romcoms - Miss Congeniality 1+2, The Proposal, 100 Days With Mr Arrogant, He's so cool, First Wives Club...the list goes on
- Shopping is pretty awesome, I do have a secret love for shopping for clothes, video games.
- I am very picky about my appearance, I hate leaving house and nearly refuse to if I do not look as perfect as can be haha
- I am a better secretary than any women ever. I have a borderline obsession with stationary, I loveeeeee notebooks, pens, desks.
- Sports and beer are two repulsive things in life, football (soccer) why do you exist?
- designing my future house decor and furnishings is much more exciting than a day of sport, paintballing or going to the pub.
