Isn't this a lovely promise!? Here, the Israelites, lead by Joshua, were getting ready to cross the Jordan to go towards their promise land with the ark being carried before them. This speaks to us today. See what preparation we must make to receive the discoveries of God's glory and the communications of his grace: we must sanctify ourselves. To sanctify ourselves means to set ourselves apart from the world. Then God is about to do wonders among us; we must separate ourselves from all other cares, devote ourselves to God's honour, and cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of flesh. The people of Israel were now entering into the holy land, and therefore must sanctify themselves. God was about to give them uncommon instances of his favour, which by meditation and prayer they must compose their minds to a very careful observation of, that they might give God the glory, and take to themselves the comfort, of these appearances. We too can have this. Just separate from the world. Be devoted to God. And see Him work in your life and in the lives of those around you! Praise God! Love you all!

that must be fairly new. I've never seen it. when I say old I mean 1999-2003 that's in it's early years. Stephen Hillenburg wrote for the show and he did some writting for my favorite American cartoon Rockos Modern Life

Currently Wednesday 1:28 PM here where I reside in sunny Florida. I had a bright sunny morning too. The air felt a little cool and crisp. Of course, the hot muggy weather will be arriving, sooner rather than later.

Currently 3.30am and I've just been ketching up on our posts lol. Yesterday we finally had a slight cool change - we've all been waiting for it - it's been so humid for this time of the year. We're in our Autumn and it's still felt a bit like Summer.
Now that is a cuppa of water for my day ... Thanks for that Scripture it made me feel all bubbly up inside. I meant that too! (must have been soda water, or the Holy Spirit; or both) .

Trying to catch up on all of the postings is like trying to cure cancer in 20 minutes...it is only possible if God helps me. (See I never leave anything un-possible AKA impossible when God is involved).

Ok, I may drown with all the refreshing water being poured today, he said cheeky, this is another refresher course verse. May we all be well hydrated in Jesus today! Or wallow and not drown in His presence, he said sincerely.
