Nope not kidnap...gang-kill, from the river, after I got my red and blue buffs and you were over-extended. Its all from a game I thought you played based on your avatar. Whatever I'm sure you'll get over it.

Bwahhaha, I almost spit water all over the monitor.
I'm apparently on his ignore list now, which is a shame, because you reminded me of something else David did.
Did you just call me a monster?
Do you not realize how close I am to stabbing a random person in my neighborhood right now?

@Praus
You're right, I am breaking the rules. Nothing, however, has been done to prevent Ugly from telling me straight-up that I'm uneducated and ignorant.

Weird. I just saw his avatar as the Cheshire Cat in Saint Patrick's-style clothing.

Are your threats of violence supposed to impress me? Please if you are serious about injuring another human being, talk to your parents, or an adult who will listen. None of us here have told you to stab any one.

And I never said the word monster. Ever.

League of Legends isn't unchristian in any way...though you might want to ignore the chatbox in game.
That is good to know! Do you recommend the game? If so I may check it out... And yeah chat boards are what they are in games I play Kings Empire and just ignore the chat unless it's positive..

God bless

I've played it for almost two years, got most of my friends into it at around the same time. It's also the most played game in the world. And, it's free. I mean you CAN pay for stuff if you want to, but you dont need to spend money to enjoy it.

You think that is funny? I can be kidnapped anytime now. My neighborhood isn't very...peaceful.

My parents are always out most of the day working. Do I like having the house all to myself? Absolutely not, because I'm worried about break-ins.

Don't bother using me as a subject of jokes, Nautilus...

Unfortunately I do not.

The best I've found is just to stay neutral on the gaming front. Don't play anything that compromises your faith.

In the late 90's there was a push for making explicitly Christian games, but they kind of well - fizzled out. There was one, Catchumen, where you basically walked through corridors with a sword forcibly attacking people until you get a special sword that shoots (the Holy Spirit maybe) at people to and forces them to accept Christ at the tip of a sword (and no I'm not joking).

And I mostly said kids because I was acting indignant. I don't see how age factors in to playing video games. It's like telling someone they are too old to watch TV, or read a newspaper.
The sequel to Catechumen was Ominous Horizons. The Gutenberg Bible had been stolen from the printing press in Germany, to prevent the mass-publication of the Bible. It was stolen by one of Satan's minions. Over time, you fought his minions and acquired the full Armour of God. Then you took on the Father of Lies. The idea was good but as far as video games go it was rather simple (pretty much a FPS) and not terribly well-executed (they just didn't have the budget necessary). Still, a decent bit of fun.

Why would I want to "impress" you with violence? what kind of logic is that?

I may have broken the rules, but what about Ugly? read the evidence I posted earlier. I provided links, as well as the post numbers.

That actually sounds a lot]/i] better than the first game. Also, a lot less offensive. Last I had checked Christianity kind of flies in the face of forced conversions.

I've been messing around with Hebrew transliteration, Phinehas is actually Piynĕchac, cool no?

Num 25:6-8 ¶ And, behold, one of the children of Israel came and brought unto his brethren a Midianitish woman in the sight of Moses, and in the sight of all the congregation of the children of Israel, who [were] weeping [before] the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. And when Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw [it], he rose up from among the congregation, and took a javelin in his hand; And he went after the man of Israel into the tent, and thrust both of them through, the man of Israel, and the woman through her belly. So the plague was stayed from the children of Israel.

My grandmother explained that, as far as little children go, "big one beats small one". She's the one who taught me about Jesus, so she can't possibly be wrong...

Faith, hope, and, love are all great, but the greatest of these three is Love, so , if you feel someone is saying something upsetting to you, that attacks you, then, first, speak to that person in Love, as Jesus would do, right, we want to do what Jesus would do :) Then, if that don't work, turn the other cheek.

We all need to work on this, I know I do, it's not easy always being mr nice guy, but, it's good we do be nice, the Lord loves that and will bless us for turning the other cheek and just generally letting things slide that normally would get us into an angry mood.

And, do you know Ephesians 4 says that we should not go to bed with anger in us, for that allows The Devil to get a foothold on us. :(

So, that all said, it's a good work toward relationship building and understanding too when we can choose 'nice.'

OK, TeeGee, brother :)
Oh, yeah... Speak to that person in love...right...how could I forget that?
Ephesians 4, eh? Thanks for the heads up.

*Checks Ephesians 4* Umm.. it doesn't say that we have to go to bed clean of anger. It states that we have to grow up in love, which of course, means we have to grow up clean of anger. Thanks anyway!

No, we don't have to do anything we don't want to do, God leads us, He does not force us to do anything, it's a choice to let His Spirit in us lead us, TeeGee. The Lord leads. "...you follow Me." John 21:22

As many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons and daughters of God . Romans 8:14

Here is how God says it is best that we follow Him, one of many ways to follow Him to the 'narrow' way, brother :)

Love Him first, and, love others, second; of these two commandments 'hang' all the others of Scripture, per Matthew 22:37-40.

And, we are to not to go to bed with anger on our heart toward another, or, toward a situation, that is what this verse says along with what you said about growing up in love. :)

Ephesians 4:

Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body. 26“In your anger do not sin”[SUP]d[/SUP] : Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, 27and do not give the devil a foothold. 28Anyone who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with their own hands, that they may have something to share with those in need.

And, our speech, too, should be sprinkled in love, and, admittedly, that's not easy, but, it's important to do so.

Colossians 4:6

Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.

OK, bro, TeeGee :)

The Lord knows exactly what you are going through TeeGee, brother, He is there., He is there to protect you, His blood will protect you, pray for 'it.' :) but, be nice to your brothers in Christ who may hurt you ,and, if they are not seeming nice to you, forgive them, and, you will be a better man for it and don't we all want to be someone whom God says, 'I am well pleased with you, son .' Remember, per Scripture, we who have accepted Christ are all brothers, we are 'adopted' brothers, and, sisters of the One who is King and, also, too, the Spirit of everything :) :) :)

I don't believe they are the same person. That said, this thread has been a bit of a lightning rod hasn't it.
