Sometimes life is about fighting for the next generation. Fighting doesn't always involve weapons or war.

The Hunt for Red October is another great movie. My grandmother took me to see it when I was 10.
Well you just got took to theaters all over the place, didn't you? Lol I heard its a good movie. I have not been watching movies very often anymore, however. Its rather sad. But I will get to that one eventually.

Back in my day, theaters were the only place to see movies. It was like 2 years before movies were released on cassette, and VCRs were expensive.

My hobby. Well I play a little guitar. But my preferred hobby seems to be hijacking threads. I find it very relaxing and good for the spirit.

When was the last time you were sick?

The first person I thought of was Helen Keller. I'm fascinated that even though she couldn't see, hear, or speak, she overcame all of those obstacles and lived a full, happy life.

What did you want to grow up to be when you were a child?

I’m from and live in Alabama, so have known about Helen Keller from an early age. I read her autobiography, but it was a little disappointing. I find Annie Sullivan infinitely more interesting.

I wanted to be a mommy, a teacher, a ballerina, and an author.

What is one thing on your bucket list, if you have a bucket list?

I also love Annie Sullivan! :) I suppose the reason I was so inspired by Helen Keller was that she was literally lost in darkness and yet broke from from the bondage to it. I was in fearful, dark spiritual bondage before I met the Lord. A young blind woman led me to Christ by her exuberant joy and love for Jesus.

I would like to go mountain climbing again. But hopefully the next time I will not be alone.

Thank you for sharing your testimony. If you’ve not heard about Fanny Crosby, you may want to research her life. She was the blind hymnist who wrote many of our old time hymns- Blessed Assurance, Tell Me the Story of Jesus, and more.

Apples- Granny Smith apples, to be precise. I like their tart flavor.

What is the first thing you’d buy if you won the lottery?
