So how did you pick up the American part of your accent?
Movies... songs... tv shows... audiobooks... there are plenty of sources to practice one's language...

Minnesotaian-type accents are adorable.lol It was like an angel singing when a girl randomly came up to me and asked, "Do you wanna play a game called Ninja?"
I think I grinned like an idiot after I heard her voice.hahaha

I am from Minnesota and I don't think I have a Minnesota accent (but I can pretend to have one).

I like all sorts of accents. ;) The way to my heart though is a bright person speaking knowledgeably. Wow.

No, don't have him work on it. He's suppose to be our resident crazy bachelor.

Lynx...maybe its more about what your saying? Work on that and then the accent will kick in and do the rest :)

I think accents/dialects from Australia are so nice, and some Scottish' as well.
American accents from parts of Mississippi are real sweet too, same goes for Tennessee, Carolinas and Georgia.

I like the Received Pronunciation for its formal tone. I like the Aussie accent (are there different sub-types?) for its friendly and happy tone.

Indians have an accent which is influenced by our respective mother tongues. I've been told that I do not have an Indian accent. :)

I believed that!

Particularly watching (witnessing) you are one of the most stables men (of moods) whom I don´t have any memory of having changed that avatar...

Thanks!

You gave me one idea to blog, on Avatars.
