as in a difference between mexico spanish and spain spanish? yup.
No wonder Mexican "Spanish" was chosen as "flat" (although it´s not). I certanly dislike the Spanish Spaniarshs do use (commonly) and, when I started to heard those movies with Spaniar ppl translating English versions...

I finished watching those videos I never would see, again.

Caramba, compadrito!

¡Ándele! Que los andaluces no son tan majaderos ni tan "chicuacos"... ¡Ea!

:p

My dream girl is mute. Does that count as an accent? :p

Sorry Mitspa, I respect you; I'm just having a little fun.

I like Dominican accents and British accents.

Back in the day...

I used to have CC chat running like the radio as background noise... Because I was listening to certain regular chatters who had outstanding voices and/or accents (most of them are no longer there or are rarely on the mic anymore.)

Sign languages are different in different countries... and I bet, in a way, each one has its own "accent". :)

The band Savage Garden had a music video, "Crash and Burn", that I just love because at the very end, the lead singer performs the lyrics in Aslan (Australian Sign Language.)

If you ask me, those eyes are an accent all on their own!

I also like Brits... But I stopped to think if this was the Dominican you wanted (in blue).

Just kidding!

The dating site Cupid.com has released a survey rating regional accents. The most attractive accent in North America is the Southern drawl. The New York accent came in second. Rounding out the top 5: the New Jersey, Boston and Western accents.

any thoughts?...nobody get too serious yall
People think I have a NYC and Boston accent. All. The Time. When I tell them it's just a speech impediment, they are shocked.

I like accents, unless their so thick that you can't understand a word that the person is saying. Anyone who has ever talked to a foreign telemarketer knows what I mean. :p

MPW I bet you have a wonderful accent...just like the British shows :)
Mitspa, British accents vary - just as American accents do. I guess if you want to compare mine with TV...have you seen Doc Martin? I am from SW England and the accent is distinctive of that area. :)
