"Boaz" and the "Proverbs 31 Woman"

I think we are missing paths here. Im lost.

I don't believe that very many of Proverbial 31 women exist and to remain alone until one is found that meets all of the qualities outlined would probably be fruitless. Even so, if such an exact match existed the relationship would not have a chance unless the man was like Boaz.

I believe that if one desires a lifelong partner in marriage it is best to simply pray for God to search and find a mate of one's heart's desire. Also, if an opportunity arose one must be prepared to act and to not start making excuses out of fear of rejection or commitment.

There will never be a perfect time to marry, if you wait for someone who is perfect and act excessively cautious waiting for all the 't's to be crossed, the 'i's dotted and all green lights you will most likely waste the precious years of the prime of life and will be alone for the rest of your life.

I believe that it would be an exercise in futility for a single man to have as his standard for a prospective wife to be a Proverb 31 woman. I do believe however that a man should have as his standard that a prospective wife knows and loves the Lord.

The Proverbs 31 that I have says her husband can trust in her and that she does him good and not evil all the days of HER life..

I was fully agreeing with what you originally posted but added that the qualities of trust and doing her husband good and not evil can be found in a lot of women besides a strictly Proverb 31 woman. I'm sorry if my thought process seemed a bit muddled.
