I'm super curious now :D

Elaborate?

Was it that the women were out of the Guys league or was it like a bunch of pack a day single moms flocking to the stability of a ''Christian" guy?
The women came off as shy, introverted.. all class and manners, conservative. The guys came off as needing to shave, poorly dressed, suspect, videogamers who can't wine and dine a lady properly. Probably explains why my profile had been getting a lot of attention from the women on there not to sound arrogant. A guy needs to present himself to a woman well.. and to me most of those guys are just not those ladies types.

Just don't see these two groups living happily ever in the future.

Agreed. The men I talked to claimed to be Christian but were not serious about their faith. I am a "take up your cross and follow me" Christian and want the man I date and marry to be the same. I read daily and am trying to apply the bible to my life, and most of the guys on there just don't. I want someone who loves God with his whole heart and strives to please God in everything he does. I'm not looking for perfection by any means, but someone who puts an importance on living God's way because that's what God asks us to do. The ones I encountered on Christian Mingle mostly didn't. And the ones who did weren't interested in me because I am a plus size gal. So I said bye bye and pulled my account down.
Yeah I was only on there a short while. Overall, I just don't like online dating and don't have much interest in going around saying "We met on Christian Mingle". I watched a dating show on VH1 last year and definately like how she said "Deal Breakers" are important to behold. If we're a Christian.. Christian standards are definately important to enforce as Deal Breakers.

From my experience, I advice not to use it. I see the journey when my younger sister meet her fiance from dating sites. It's really horrible when I know both of them don't have an intimate relationship with God, I can't imagine what will happen next when they married. When they have a fight, they solve with their logic and not based on what God said. Unfortunately, she choose the wrong decision when they start to dating, they don't care bout God and do everything freely, it's really hurt my heart but I can't do anything because she was stubborn so I pray everyday and hope God will open the eyes of her hearts. I was born from Christian family and when I'm at 19 y.o I decide to follow Jesus, obey what He said and give whole my life into His hand. Many people join dating sites with brands their self a Christian but in fact they don't have any relationship with God, sometimes its so annoying when people try to flirting me and when I'm said I'm a Christian who is keep the truth tightly, people avoid me and said I'm too holly and naïve to face the reality.

I think that when we maximize our manhood, God will prepare the best spouse for us. Like Ruth who is patiently wait her Boas, so I will wait my Boas patiently in His perfect time :)

Don't ever admit that to your wife, unless you want to be sleeping on the couch for the next month.:D

This is my experience with Christian dating sites:
Spend lots of time answering all their questions, making a catchy headline, filing out my profile, upload a picture.
Find about 5-15 guys near me, none of whom I'm interested in. and/or wait and get no response.
Delete profile.
Repeat.

So it's great if it works but I'm done with that game.

I would avoid them for a safety and wellness issue.
Lots of these sites are ripe with lucrative people looking for a "desperate" or lonely person, who can easily fall prey.

Tread carefully, says I.

Well, I was thinking...

Either the women were too good for the men.

OR

The women were desperate.

Exactly. I love God and sexual sin is His deal breaker so it is mine as well. If he can't wait until our wedding night then God must not place very high in his book. Why is it that people think that's not a big deal? I guess that is another thread entirely. LOL
Yeah so when God does find a man like that for me I'm good. Christian Mingle, PlentyOfFish, and all the other sites...GOOD RIDDANCE!:D

I could make a killing writing profiles for these guys and taking their pictures. Most men can't market themselves well. I seriously saw a guy in his profile pic holding up a tshirt with a wolf on it with no smile, looking unhappy. REALLY?
That's the first thing that is supposed to attract me? No shirts, holding fish, and other things too crazy to mention that I saw.

I guess it all depends on the person: If they feel they haven't met their soulmate in person yet, and they feel there still out there somewhere, but fate's not leading them in person, that's a good reason to do christian dating sites: And maybe there soulmate's 3 states away or something: But it also has a bad side: for me, I wouldn't go for it: there's creepers on those sites who lie about their age and just want young girls..

Let's hope he was just doing that to mock the site.. but something strongly tells me.. he wasn't

I thought they were good, until the one I found someone I really liked tried to charge me. This even after googling FREE (and putting the free in all caps) Christian dating sites. I wrote them an email that was quite to the point!
