Seriously.
God gave us all brains. Please, let's use them.
And use the Search button at the top-right of the screen, it's not there for decoration.
Cheers.

I fully agree. What is the point in dating a person without wanting a potential marriage out of it? So we need to be dating other Christians because I do want to date a man who is stronger in his faith than I am in mine because he would need to be there to help strengthen my walk in the Lord.

And he will be the spiritual leader of your home.

I think the real issue here is Tintin speaking of fictional search buttons.

I don't understand what do you mean?

Are people did something wrong?

Just tell me because I'm too lazy to go once again
on Google Translate to search and try to find the right answer.

But what if you're not a Christian, and you're dating a Christian. Or you're a Christian dating a non-Christian who is thinking about being a Christian? Or you're a Christian who is praying for someone to become a Christian so that you can then initiate a Christin-Christian relationship? Or what if you're both non-Christians and you become Christians, together? Or what if A non-Christian dates a non-Christian, and then one person has a near death experience and then gives their life to God, and the other becomes a Christian, too? Or what if one non-Christian was like, 'Hey, I'm going to call myself a Christian today' and they're not really a Christian! And then they drug a Christian and convince them to marry them!? Or what if a non-Christian and a Christian were in a space shuttle together, and then the world blew up, and they're the only humans left!? Is a water melon considered a non-Christian?

We really to talk about these things and find biblical answers to such scenarios. I suggest we start a thread based on each of these scenarios.

Just saying.

P.S..... it took me months to discover the search bar and search button. There's no point in clicking the search button if you do not fill the search bar in the first place. That's just silly.

Great post, Arlene. This last bit is a little cheeky, but you certainly make a good point.

A real Christian should not date a non-Christian ...and should be careful to know if the "Christian" they think to date is in fact a sincere one.... had some experience with this :(

I disagree. The ways of God are indeed unpredictable, you and this non Christian may very well have been brought together so that this non Christian could be saved.

I guess all I can say is I'm glad my name's not Christian then. I'd hate to have to choose my dating partners based solely on whether they had the same name as I did or not. And do both parties have to be named Christian or could a Christian date a Christine or Christina (or vice a versa)? And does this rule apply only to people who are named Christian or does Chris__ anything as a name make you subject to the rule?

Being a real Christian...means you have surrendered your will and desires in this world and life to the Will of Christ...The scriptures tell us clearly not to tie ourselves to a nonbeliever.
