christian, i think it's brilliant that you would only date/marry other people named christian. it's not only a prudent choice, but it's going to save a lot of hassle down the road.

plus, it's totally going to save you $ on the monogrammed stationery. ; p

I guess all I can say is I'm glad my name's not Christian then. I'd hate to have to choose my dating partners based solely on whether they had the same name as I did or not. And do both parties have to be named Christian or could a Christian date a Christine or Christina (or vice a versa)? And does this rule apply only to people who are named Christian or does Chris__ anything as a name make you subject to the rule?

If you date a non christian there's no real reason to celebrate christmas together, which would be a bummer

I fully agree. What is the point in dating a person without wanting a potential marriage out of it? So we need to be dating other Christians because I do want to date a man who is stronger in his faith than I am in mine because he would need to be there to help strengthen my walk in the Lord.

Those ideas reminded me of Samson...

I know how his love story ended up.
