Hmm.. marinating doesn't quite express the way we felt when this stuff happened.
No one should feel this way but stuff happens. People can be cruel.

That's an interesting point, Silex... marinating... like in a fountain of Italian dressing? Hmm. I've been to Italy but have never had the opportunity to date an Italian.

Maybe someday. :) Just kidding! We'll see what God has planned.
"fountain of italian dressing"? I guess you don't care too much for guys who'd rather go for steaks.

Steaks are good, but cheeseburgers are my favorite. Actually... most any food is good... heh heh. Speaking of leftovers. :)

It reminds me of a while back I was walking out of my church and these two young guys(teens) were standing in the church lawn. The one kid gave me this smile and said "hi" and the other kid hit him and whispered,"DUDE she's like 20!!"
20? That must have been a whiiiiiiiile back ...

Most guys think I'm between 16- 18. There was one man in his 40's? who thought I was 14, and he was hitting on me anyway!! Ewwww!!!!
Gah! That is sick! You know, I'm starting to reconsider the whole CC beatdown list. You know, make a list, people post names (like that 40 year old guy), and then the guy gets a random beat down some day.

It would make the world a better place, you know?

(Just kidding! Mostly.)

This thread made me think of the song "Good Enough for Now" by Weird Al. Lol. :)

Oh, I couldn't live a single day without you
Actually, on second thought, well, I suppose I could
Anyway, what I'm trying to say is, honey, you're the greatest
Well, at any rate, I guess you're...pretty good

Now, it seems to me I'm relatively lucky
I know I probably couldn't ask for too much more
I honestly can say you're an above-average lady
You're almost just what I've been looking for

You're sort of everything I ever wanted
You're not perfect, but I love you anyhow
You're the woman that I've always dreamed of
Well, not really...but you're good enough for now

You're pretty close to what I've always hoped for
That's why my love for you is fairly strong
And I swear I'm never gonna leave you, darlin'
At least 'til something better comes along

'Cause you're sort of everything I ever wanted
You're not perfect, but I love you anyhow
You're the woman that I've always dreamed of
Well, not really...but you're good enough for now
No, not really...but you're good enough for now

Seems like you ladies aren't happy with people misjudging your age. So here's the solution: Wear an age tag

Before you start compiling your 'beat down list', the guy I was talking about wasn't here in CC. I was on the bus on the way to school. If he was here on CC, I would have reported him to a mod immediately. Sweet of you to offer, though.

Oh, the list isn't just limited to people from CC. It's just people from CC that supply the names, and carry on with the beatings and so forth. You know, er, if that were a real list or something, which it isn't.

Hey everyone,

Have you ever found yourself in this situation? I usually find that I become friends with guys pretty easily... but when it comes to dating, guys will approach me... because they want to date one of my friends.

It happens less often as I get older because almost all my friends are now married/engaged/have children.

Once a guy finds this out, he'll kind of be like... "Well... I guess I could date you... you're still single, right?"

Gee, how flattering.

I can barely contain my swooning. (NOT.)

How about all of you? Does this happen to you too, and how do you handle it?
Let me pop you in the microwave, you look like a hardy treat.

Oh yeah :D a guy like months ago saw my picture on his friend's wall and asked my friend(his schoolmate) about me...so he sent a message to me with his picture and said to me "Hi I am your ---- schoolmate . I said ok because my friend told me about him already and she said he got a crush on me :D so I don't want my friend to feel bad ....I talked with him a little bit until he told me oh you are still single and never been married " kawawa ka naman" I can't put the exact meaning but it is similar to I pity you :D I was like oh Mr. I am not "kawawa" Hahaha

Oh goodness I wanted to give him a hard kick on his back side :D :D

Well as a male the only experience we have like this is being friend zoned.. Which is a woman keeping you as a friend while they hope for a better man or have another guy in mind.. They keep you in the friend zone as a backup option if their no 1 man does not work out.. So yeah being friend zoned makes you feel like you are a left over male..

Most men will not put up with this situation.. If they cannot establish a serious relationship with a woman then they are not prepared to sit in the friend zone.. So it is all or nothing for most men..
