Cats are reserved, mind their own business, and always seem to be deep in thought. Dogs are loud, obnoxious and always need attention.

Cats are much easier to care for, especially if you keep them inside.

Wait....are wild/game cats included int this? ...my vote wwould still be on the canine side, but talking about substantial cats like lions, panthers, cougars, tigers, etc...would make a considerably harder and closer decision when voting...
If we were to bring in foxes, then yeah, it would be a harder decision, but then, any creature his babies are called kits, are perfectly cool.

And then, there are horses to think about to, for the other types of animals. There are days when felines and horses compete for first place in my heart, that I just call it a draw.

Welcome to the newest cat family member. Just so you know, we don't feed lynxes here. Much too dangerous. But if you promise not to bite the hand or try to steal other people's chocolates, then I'll make an exception for you.

By all means, please do not feed the lynx. He needs to maintain his svelte figure.

Why thank you! As a natural hunter, I am very careful with my food.

Always room for another lynx. You usually never know a lynx is in the neighborhood anyway. =^.^=

Obviously cats. They're cuter, quieter, more dignified, etc. Plus, cats just seem to love me... *iamthecatwhisperer*

I seem to have a dog who thinks he is a cat. He's an australian shepherd mix, if that has anything to do with it. I went outside to feed him just a few minutes ago and he was crouched on top of the desk that is by the front door. Never had a dog get up there before.

You know that an animal is awesome when a whole Operatic song is dedicated to just it's vocabulary. (This is for all my opera loving friends. And even for those who don't (like me), you might like this one.)(

I notice cats won in the poll. =^.^=

And if you tried to put that bus suit on a cat he'd just sit and stare at your forehead until you got a headache and your vision started blurring. Cats can do things like that. Dogs have to put up with stuff because they can't do what cats can do.

I like cats but with dogs you can do much more with them. A reason why they're called man's best friend.
