I'm talking about Nerf guns, I took my Daughter to her friends birthday party yesterday, the boy got this really cool Nerf gun that would shoot out like 10 darts in a row, sort of like a machine gun type thing.
I bought my nephew one of those for Christmas this past year. I'm quite sure he has terrorized his sister, parents, and the cats with that thing. ;)

Hi, everybody! I escaped online dating hell myself--by marrying the guy I met online!

Hi, everybody! I escaped online dating hell myself--by marrying the guy I met online!
What she failed to say is that 16 years ago this month (Mother's Day weekend) she informed my folks and I that she was meeting this guy she knew from a chat room (back in the days of AOL Chat) on her way back to California from Colorado. Mind you she was meeting this guy in the middle of Utah where she knew no one. Needless to say my Dad and I were considerably apprehensive about that meeting. Seven months later they were married.

I couldn't be happier with the man she married.

I'm sure plenty of people here have their on-line dating apprehensions or horror stories, but they are a testimony to the fact that it can work.

I met my husband online in 1997, we were married a year later to the week. He's been gone now for 3 years, but it was a good marriage. :)

I will never join an online dating service again! Not knocking them for other people. There were times dinner with a wolf in sheep clothing became more than once...I was lucky I didn't get assaulted! I strongly don't feel...God will send me my true love on a dating site. I just left them alone...then I joined CC...and its the only site I'm a part of now! And I have made the greatest friends of my life here. God called me here I know! :) BTW...thank all of you here! I love you! :)
Amen to that. I was online dating and met some of the most "crazy" people. I could tell you some horrible stories but I don't want to depress you. I had an epiphany one day that God will lead "us" together if it is meant to be. I will not online date anymore. To me it's not worth the heartache and headache of meeting people with the wrong intentions. I know plenty of couples who met on line and got married so I thought it might work for me. I was ever so wrong. It's not for me anymore but if it works for you I will not think negatively about it.
