*Seoulsearch rubs her eyes to make sure she is reading that right.*

Stop the presses!

A guy who carries around his own sewing kit in his bag??!!

It pains me greatly to say this ladies, but I think Eli has just won the Girlie thread.

(However, I admit that as someone who dabbles in sewing... I might be slightly biased.)
Lol. I used to keep a m being kit for sewing buttons back on and stuff. No idea where it is now.

Also, I need to look at some nicer backpacks. I am still rocking an Amazon Basics backpack my brother got me for my birthday like 3 or 4 years ago.

I have maybe three pretty (and inexpensive) purses in my closet for special occasions. But for everyday use, I carry my backpack. It's roomy, comfortable, and I carry everything in it: the front pocket for my phone and eyeglasses case, and everything else gets tossed inside.

As for perfume, I adore the scent of violet. I really love going into stores and gazing at all the beautiful bottles of violet perfume or oil and smelling all the varieties they have available! Fresh violet, sweet violet, wild violet, African violet, candied violet, woody dark violet, classic violet, jasmine violet, musk violet, April violets, blanc violette, noir violette. If there’s such a thing as aromatherapy, violets do it for me. It smells so heavenly!

My edc, med kit, leatherman, binocs, magnifying glass, refills for my powder actuated self defense device, ear plugs, sewing kit, buttons, and misc, stuff........... View attachment 195274
Yes... I have a 'McGiver' 'gear' bag that I carry on trips and to all the boys athletic events - you never know when you might need some of that stuff... Albeit, I have to admit I do not have a 'self defense device' in mine... hmm, now I'm wondering if I might need one... ;)

I used to carry a small pharmacy in my bag because my work often made me ill from stress and gave me a headache and I found that taking aspirin somehow reduced my stress (probably just a placebo effect).

I had aspirin, tylenol, excedrin, tums, decongestant, cough drops, claritin (allergy), and a bunch of vitamin supplements. Sometimes I would take all of the meds at the same time. Its a wonder that my liver didn't fail. (I didn't know about liver toxicity)

Are we talking concrete nail gun... or something a bit more sinister?

The problem with a Ramset is that the device has to be in solid contact with the intended target to function which makes it a poor choice for self defense.

I should add that it was the tight deadlines and having to take up all the slack from other people who didn't do their jobs properly that stressed me out.

When I was a teen, I had one of those ear splitting alarms in my bag.
Where you pull out a cord and it goes off. It was so loud it was unbearable.

Maybe it would work on an unfaithful spouse. Lol

speaking of scents, I’m not sure what cologne to try. I have recently started using aftershave after switching to wet shaving. I’m using Proraso for shave soap and after shave balm.

I use a Fossil purse and wallet that are both caramel color. That's neutral so it goes with anything. I use it all the time. I've had it for about four years.
It's also a crossbody. I really like those!
With perfume, I have been using Ralph Lauren Blue since I turned 14. I got that for my bday back then. But I recently smelled one that I loved! I think it was called Beautiful Belle by Estee Lauder. I might have to get that one someday.
