speaking of scents, I’m not sure what cologne to try. I have recently started using aftershave after switching to wet shaving. I’m using Proraso for shave soap and after shave balm.

I thought men buy aftershave and cologne just for fun and wear it any time.
Correct me if I’m wrong though.

I have 4 brothers it’s difficult buying them aftershave as I don’t really know what
to get them. Most smell kind of woody musty old men smell. Lol

I don’t know why they are made like that. I get they won’t want to wear something
sweet and flowery but I wouldn’t think they want to smell like old men either. Lol

Maybe old men don’t want anyone to doubt that they are old men? They might think old skin and wrinkles are not enough and need to rub it in with a little more smelly odor? I’m not really that close to any old men lol, so I wouldn’t know.

Speaking of scents, and here is this lady at work that wears one that is.... not so pleasant. I don’t know how to describe it other than it reminds me of Stinkor from He-Man.

It took me a bit to place the smell, but it is a lot like this toy my friend had years ago: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stinkor

Also, that’s a no on smelling like an old man? Are there food scents for not smelling old but not like a teenager/early 20s? Like middle age spice?

Hmm... Middle-Aged Spice?

You mean, like these?

For anyone who remembers The Spice Girls... and for anyone who doesn't, you might know the most famous member, Victoria (who happens to be married to someone named David Beckham.)

Old ladies don’t necessarily smell good either.

Is that what they look like now, or then?

I get the goofiest typos with AC turned on. That should say “are there any good scents” not “food scents”.

Next thing to do is have a sniff-a-thon at your local department store to
find one you like.

Scents and the way they interact with body chemistry, definately changes over time
too.

Before I moved back to civilization, when my shoes would get wet, I'd dry them by hanging them over a campfire under a tarp. Now they smell like smoke, so my perfume is eau de campfire?

You’re lucky to even be allowed to make a campfire😁. I remember some hellholes around the world where even the glowing lights of a cigarette would get you shot😂.

Maybe not so girlie...lol

Where I'm from, we shoot back.

I guess you must be referring to your time in the military? My neighbor is heavily armed, and if anyone starts shooting, he will definitely handle all that. I don't even have to have a gun-although he's always trying to give me one. Being 30 miles from the nearest small town helps.
