My mom worked for a while at a factory here in town that makes medicine and other junk. She had a friend who worked there with her and would hang out with him outside of work. He had a friend that he introduced to her, and according to her, when she first met him she thought he was the ugliest man she had ever seen.

Well, that ugly man ended up being my father, haha. She said that after she got to know him, she fell in love with his personality. They separated years ago, but if you were to ask her now, shed tell you that she still loves him and wont ever love anyone else.

My parents story kind of cracks me up. My Dad was a few years older than my Mom. I think she was 16 and said she and her friend were hanging around downtown where she lived. My Mom liked my Dads friend, Larry who had a glass eye. Larry and my Dad were driving around in my Dads convertible and Larry with his good eye spotted my Mom and her friend.

My Dad pulled over and asked the ladies if they wanted to go get hamburgers. They all went to get burgers and Larry took his glass eye out a lot I guess. The rest is history.
Du u realize that if Larry just kept his eye in things might have been very different?

My Dad would have been the Dad who took his eye out in front of all of my friends.

My dad had known my mom since elementary school days, since he was friends with her sister (my aunt). He asked my mom out in high school.
