Way too long it will be 4 years next week. Haven't been in a relationship since my senior year of high school. It still frustrates me everyday.

My divorce was final on 8-9-10 so I never forget the date. I celebrate my emancipation yearly. Don't get me wrong: I am pro marriage, just not abusive ones.

lol...mine will always be remembered,just because of the silly holiday if fell on when finalized...Feb 2nd 2012 GROUNDHOGS DAY. (Thank God I don't have to relive it like in the film)

That silly holiday is my birthday!

My dad likes to tell the story of when I was born, already 3 weeks late. Near the end of labor, he told my mom, "ya know, if this baby sees its shadow, it's gonna crawl back in and wait 6 more weeks." It was quite a while before mom forgave him of that.

Dude..I feel yer' pain my friend...but srsly....I've only dated 6 women in my entire life,and I am 43 yrs old. I was single from age 23-30...then got married. The last 3 yrs of my marriage,I might as well have been single. Trust me...you do not want to end up in a relationship...even worse than that...end up married,if it's not born of God! I married an unbeliever because I gave up on Christian women and gave up on waiting for God to bring that special person into my life and me into theirs. I jumped the gun on God's plan for my life. I know that now. I took the "easy" path because I knew secular women liked me & I believed the lie that no Christian woman would ever find me good enough or desire someone who wasn't the cookie cutter 3 piece suit guy that could quote every chapter & verse...wanted 3 kids & a white picket fence type Christian.

I pray God will heal your heart bro. I pray that as you seek the face of God more & more,that you become less discouraged by your situation & your past. Hang in there!

Yanno what? There's times I really wish I never had either. I understand the loneliness...but so does Jesus,even more than you or I can even fathom. Try to release that loneliness and junk @ His feet. Let Him take that burden.

I try daily, I read the bible daily, pray more than 30 times a day!!! Go to church every week. I feel that I have a strong relationship with Christ. Something is off though!!

Yep...and that's where the whole walking in Faith & not by sight comes in. Because trust me...I'd say 85% of the time I don't "feel" much like a Christian. No matter how much I pray or read. I have to rest & trust in the fact that I am saved by the love & grace of Jesus,and the second I start getting my eyes off of that truth,then I start to really spiral down into sadness. For good reason too,because in reality I am NOTHING without Christ in my life. It's a daily battle sometimes. I'm glad yer' here in the forums with all of us though...safety in numbers. lol :)

I've actually honestly started asking myself "am I gay??" I don't have gay thoughts but by world standards my emotions would be considered gay!! :(

If you can repent of such a thought, then you're not gay. Gay is a word people nowadays use to say they are a certain sexual orientation. But it's actually no different than a murderer repenting from murder. Lier repenting from lying. Theft repenting from stealing, ect. Sin is no greater than any other sin.

I don't have gay thoughts though. I'm just saying by worlds standards I would be gay. I love woman.

To me, single is not being in a committed, monogamous relationships. I have never had a boyfriend or anything in my 19 years, and my Christian faith has taught me to wait. Waiting for me, turns out to be the hardest thing out there!

Same here. Not one girl, never. I have I've been waiting for 19 years as well. I know their is a perfect girl out there.

So you have never had a bf and I have never had a gf ???:p
