I've been single ever since Angelina Jolie left me for Brad Pitt.

She said Brad was slightly more handsome than me, so I guess I can't blame her.

I firmly believe this is true,
God is over all, controlling all events and all people.
God has created everyone and he knows how to bring people together.
He orchestrates the universe and sets hearts aflame with love for each other.
God is all majestic, He is love and he instills love in each one of us.
May he bring us the best partner for our lives.

Well recently i became unsingle lol soo man i before tht it had been like 2 or 3 years dont really count those ii mean i talked to a few guys online but it never really went past that online its hard being online and far ughh but recently im finally dating a guy in person :p kinda feel new to the dating thing :p

Threads (especially Polls) tend to live longer lives than seems reasonable. Whatever answer I would have given when this came out, would immediately be rendered obsolete. So I didn't vote.

I know what you mean....I think it's because new members read through the archives and when they read a poll post, they vote....even if they don't reply the vote bumps the post.

Been single for a while, I was interested in someone until she said her school priorities were more important than dating... how is a nice, Godly person supposed to find someone?

I've been single ever since women were put on the endangered species list (at least that's what the last woman told me that I tried to flirt with). You don't think she lied to me, do you?

I guess I've been single about (from my perspective), about 4 years now. Now, I say that, but there are probably one or two girls that may disagree. Thing is, I just don't see how spending some time together, getting to know each other to see whether or not you want to date, and then ending that option is 'being in a relationship'. All my prior relationships were a lot more/nothing like that, so...idk. It's complicated. The last time I was in an official 'I like you. You like me. We're officially dating.' relationship was 4 years ago.

For me, "single" means not dating someone exclusively, not being married (as in, not just being separated but officially and legally divorced--I once saw a person describe herself as a "single married Christian", which had me scratching my head; but these are just my own beliefs), not being intimately involved with anyone for any reason, and not being in a relationship. I occasionally go on dates, but only a few times a year and nothing has ever lasted beyond a dinner conversation (except in one case, where we went out a few times, but he soon went back to his ex-girlfriend without mentioning anything to me--I found out through a friend.)

This spring, I will have been single for 10 years. I'm thinking I should probably celebrate somehow (the lessons God has taught me and the fact that He's been with me) but guess I have some time to plan.

What about the rest of you? What is your definition of "single" and how long have you been in that state?

Well I became a Christian 2 and a half years ago, unfortunately my girlfriend never and life was really really difficult. We have 4 awesome kids, she would drink excessively coming in late afternoon most times, spent all day on face book and made arrangements to meet people, I struggled to love and show grace and was on my knees often to receive both from the LORD. I Prayed LORD I can not do this anymore I have nothing left I am spent HELP ME PLEASE!!! 2 days later you walked out and took my 4 children from me without telling me ( 3 weeks ago). IN Church on that Sunday GOD spoke to me through a song .... I know not what the future holds....and has reminded me of Jeremiah 29:11 I know what plans I have for you not to harm you but to give you hope and a future. I had no food nor money but have been provided for for the last 3 weeks. Doors seem to be opening up for me now and one thing is for sure when I meet another woman she must love the LORD more than me, only then will she be right.

Well TECHNICALLY i had a boy friend when i was 15. I met him online and we cyber dated and talked on the phone. He was going to fly from canada to meet me but..we broke up. Lol. been single since then
