LOST! I think I cried during 80% of the whole series. And when Charlie died....I still haven't recovered from that one.
Oops, I forgot Charlie's death scene! And Desmond and Penny's phone reunion!

I tend to tear up pretty easily when I see guys cry in movies or tv shows, as long as its good acting that it appears to be realistic

i remember watching ' life is beautiful ' when i was in the sixth or seventh grade and waiting until i got to the taco bell bathroom afterward about fifteen or thirty minutes later and sobbing my eyes out... i was just heaving air in and out of my lungs and crying so hard.

i also remember crying through various parts of the ' lion king, ' it's a really special movie for me even though it is disney.

i'm sure i've cried as a result of watching many more things but i can't think of any in particular at this very moment.

i may have cried during ' hope floats ' recently.

i cried from watching ' namesake. '

Most of the movies that turn on the waterworks for me are some of the much older ones. Here's my list:

To Kill a Mockingbird - when Atticus leaves the courtroom after losing the case

Sophie's Choice - when she is forced to make her choice

A Tree Grows in Brooklyn - when Francie lies about the pie...and when her father plays "Annie Laurie" on the piano

Up - When Ellie dies

Requiem for a Dream - the utter hopelessness throughout the movie as addictions destroy so many lives. One of the best movies that I never want to see again.

LOST
Sawyer jumping off the helicopter
Mr Echo reciting Psalm 23

I watched a tv doc about a young woman who put her baby up for adoption -- completely lost it when it was time for her to give her baby up. I can't even imagine the extent of how shattering and painful that is.

I think I need to have either a heartwrenching themed movie marathon or a LOST marathon this weekend. Supposed to rain here on Saturday...perfect backdrop for some emotional catharsis.

Haha! No. It's a movie starring Sean Penn.

I won't tell anyone, if you won't. :p

As for me and the scene in LOST where Sun and Jin drown, that affected me greatly. They have never been my favourite characters on the show but we had journeyed together, every step of the way, for six years. Now, this scene left me choking back tears. My body began convulsing from all of the pent-up emotion (it was super-intense) and so I just decided, there and then, to just let the tears flow. It was very cathartic. In all my life, I've never quite reacted that way before to a TV series or movie.

There was a scene in a movie Will Smith did called I Am Legend where the main character was forced to put down his own dog.

At first I didn't remember this scene, but now I remember. That scene was so heartwrenching :(. The way they resigned to die together while holding hands....so sad and beautiful. I didn't like Jin at first, but then he grew on me. I thought they were really gonna make it...but I thought the same of many characters.

What about Hope Floats you guys. So many different scenes I cried. Remember when the mom dies?

The worst part for me is when the little girl is crying at the end because her dad leaves her. I couldn't take that one.
