I cried during Free Willy when he jumped over the wall to freedom.
I was like 7 when I saw that movie in a theater. And my friend started bawling at the end. I just thought it was kind of odd. hahaha

I guess I would have to post scenes that came VERY close to making me cry.

When Eve repairs Wall-E, and it appears his programming has been wiped.

Voices of a Distant Star

When Faye runs out of things she can say to Spike and all she can do is fire her gun to express her turmoil.

Oh, and I had a dream last night where I wrecked the Miata again. I almost cried in the dream.

I knew you had heart, Shour. ^_^

I took my Nephew to see it, I think he was 6, and he wondered why I was crying. lol

I don't cry much at movies/TV shows, but there have been a few:

Passion of the Christ, I cried throughout the whole thing
Marley and Me, I cried when Marley comforted Jenny after her miscarriage, and again when Marley died
Titanic, I cry every time I watch it

The episode of BTVS where she comes home & finds her Mother dead.

(no one cries as good & as believable as Sarah Michelle Gellar)

Ugh..I dunno..now...I wouldn't say I full on cry my eyes out...but ummm yeah *acts all manly*...I get might get "emotional" now & then.

* backs slowly out of thread with what remains of his dignity *
Oh yes, I cried at that too.

Things that aren't movies that made me cry

September 11th 2001

Columbine

The shooting at the grade school last year in Connecticut.

In 1985 I was a teenager and I remember learning about Aparthide in South Africa and learning about what was going on there, I cried then.

When the Tsunami hit Japan I cried.

I'm not putting these to make it seem like I'm a saint for crying, I just wondered how many others were affected by these things emotionally? I'm sure a lot of us were.

E.T made me cry so much.
P.s I love you
Titanic
The Fresh Prince of Bel Air when everyone moved and Will was alone.
The walking dead when Hershel and Dale died.

I don't like you. -_- Almost made me cry AGAIN!!

I'm weird because, if I see a person die in a movie, I'm not very upset. I mean, it's sad. But I'm not crying. Close to tears, though (like in Courageous when the daughter died). But when Hachi died, and when the Tod the fox was put back in the forest with the sad and confused look on his face....those things just break me down. Badddlllyyy.

(I didn't cry when I watched that....almost did though. Man, I came SO close.)

I literally cry at almost every movie I watch, if its sad i will cry, if its happy i will cry and if its really funny i will cry with laughter. It would be impossible for me to explain the extent of my tearfulness at films, it is impossible for me to even list them all! I cry at mulan when her dad falls to the ground, I cry at brave when her mum gets turned back, I cry at howto train your dragon when hiccup realised he only has one leg, I cry at tangled when she is reunited with her family.....these are happy kids films!!!! I also cry at actual sad films like armageddon and pearl harbour and braveheart and stuff.

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King - where Samwise picks up Frodo and continues to climb Mount Doom. Heart-breaking, platonic love. :)

I forgot about UP, I cried too. I love that movie. And the Notebook, what a good story that was. Alzheimer's what a horrible disease.

I had to edit the original post.....I gave a spoiler.....and I'm anti-spoiler. lol

But the book the Talisman, by Stephen King and Peter Straub..........there's a part in that book that teared me up so bad, it felt like I lost an actual friend. It was the first novel I ever read and probably what got me hooked on reading so much. I never knew books could evoke that kind of emotion until that moment.

Love you too, bro!

I cried at the end of The Notebook (it's one of the few chick flicks I'll watch).
I was choked up for most of The Plague Dogs (it's sort of a sister movie to Watership Dog). Brutal, animal cruelty, death etc.

Tintin - Do you like Richard Adams? Have you read The Girl in a Swing? Kind of intense and creepy.

Sorry, I meant Watership Down, not Watership Dog. :p No, I haven't even read Watership Down (yet). The Girl in a Swing, eh? I might have to put it on my To-Read list (it's not getting any shorter!) Thanks, mate. :)
