There's a quote out there and I don't know exactly where it originated but it goes: "A woman should be so lost in God that a man has to seek HIM first in order to find her." Whenever I start to feel that desire for a relationship and get frustrated at being single I think of that quote and it reminds to put my focus BACK where it belongs.

Sorry to tell u this but thats not from the bible. It's a famous quote by american author and poet, Maya Angelou.

But if you want something from the bible there is Prov 25:2 "It is the glory of God to conceal a matter,
But the glory of kings is to search out a matter." and I Cor7:32-34 "But I want you to be free from concern. One who is unmarried is concerned about the things of the Lord, how he may please the Lord; 33but one who is married is concerned about the things of the world, how he may please his wife,
34and his interests are divided. The woman who is unmarried, and the virgin, is concerned about the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and spirit; but one who is married is concerned about the things of the world, how she may please her husband.
(which I know some people would argue that this verse is just a SUGGESTION from Paul but it still helps me).

As I've grown older I've quickly found out love comes and goes, but most importantly it's not the most important thing in life. Go to school, start your career, enjoy life. Relationships have done nothing but complicate and make my life that much more stressfull. Just enjoy life, enjoy what the lord has already given you. If you happen to meet someone, great. Just don't dwell on meeting that special someone all the time.

... if you allow God to write your love story he will. If you allow him to change you to the woman he wants you to be and allow HIM to bring that person into your life. Then and only then will you have the fulfilling relationship you want deep in your heart. God is interested in our lives. Every detail...why not give the relationship side of your life to him and let him form your marriage relationship? If you want a true man of God only God will bring you to this man. A true man of God is seeking God with his whole heart so much so that he won't be seeking a relationship with you. It'll only be God who brings the relationship together. Not by your works (you trying to make it work) but by his spirit. It'll be like a magnet pulling you an the other person together. If you're seeking God's will for your life in every area you won't be able to stop God from bringing that amazing man of God into your life.
Beautifully said... :)

Just fallow, serve, and love HIM with all of your heart. He will lead you to places you've never dreamed of.
!
I agree

I recently was in a relationship that ended and I agree with that statement so much.

My advice as a 21 year old focus your attention on God he will put someone amazing in your life just like he did to me and remember its only through Him that a relationship can last so dont worry so much about finding someone that perfect one has already been picked out for you just wait for God to put them in your life ^-^

i know how you feel....although you are a bit older, but i understand. I think that God will show you the perfect person for you when the time is right, in the meantime you can work on your relationship with Christ, because that is always supposed to come first. hope that helped.
