I remember when I was just as disappointed and disillusioned with the world as I am today but I was too young, too small, too sickly, and too lacking in hard skills to do anything about it.

I remember during high school I had these awesome bell bottoms! They were fire engine red hip hugger jeans. ROFL!! Oh man, now we're talking waaay back.

I remember tripping on my elephant bells right at the entrance/lobby of high school where the two busiest corridors met.

Honestly, it's not hard if you start out making something easy first (simple skirt, maybe). Also, see if there might be a woman at your church or in your neighborhood who could help you out the first few times you sew something. But I warn you, once you start making things, you may not want to stop! It's so much fun!!!

It's getting that stupid bobbin in the bottom part in right I can't do. (I still wish I could sew. lol)

Like a good number of people here, I remember exactly what I was doing (I was at work) and who I was talking to (co-worker) when the twin towers were hit on 9/11.

I don't actually remember this, I was like one lol, but I remember the years after it and how much that day changed everything.

My home town...population of about 275(yes, two-hundred seventy-five)...had a phone booth on main street when I was a kid.

My generation isn't defined by what we accomplished...but by what games we played and what movies we watched. I'm good with being my age but I'd like to live in a different time period. haha.
