Like giving him a mulligan, just once?
I was teasing her about the adjective “habitual”. She wrote she would not marry a habitual cheater, instead of writing she would not marry a cheater- so I was being silly. Call it grammar humor or teacher humor. Misplaced modifiers send me into paroxysms of laughter, and adjectives can be amusing.

This is what happens when you are an old maid school teacher.

Sloths are not lazy they are slow, but at least they give effort! Just progress even in baby steps that’s all I ask :)
Every time I read or hear the phrase “baby steps”, I think about Bill Murray in the movie What About Bob? chanting “baby steps, baby steps”.

I’m an old maid if there ever was one. In a few years, I’ll look just like Tweety Bird’s Granny. I’m close to that, now.

I wouldn't marry someone who doesn't sincerely seek to put the Lord first in everything he does and says and who doesn't humbly seek Him daily! It's only then can I trust a man to lead me (as his help mate) and enjoy life with him God's way. His faith and fruit must be evident beyond Sunday mornings!
