A girl at the office, when she laughs, that's so funny and also a male collegue with a schoolgirl giggle. Everyone has to laugh when they laugh.

I believe that my problem is that I don't laugh often enough even though I appreciate the humor.

Maybe the laugh isn't as important as sharing the same sense of humor. How we interpret another's laugh may have more to do with the heart connection and feeling of safety with the person than the laugh itself.

To the OP,
I've heard it said that before marriage, you should have your eyes wide open, and after marriage (or perhaps I should say, within marriage), you should have your eyes half shut.

I've also heard it said that if there is anything which irritates you before marriage, deal with it or walk away. The things which you find 'endearing' in a relationship will irritate you within a marriage. The sound of laughter is a great example, because it should be something which brings joy to a partner.

i don't think there is any magic formula. What I do know that experience has taught me to be very careful who you let in. I honestly doubt I'll ever find a woman I'll feel safe with.
