So yeah, movies that show bare breasts. Girls would you count that as porn? I was just watching movie that showing breasts in parts, but it wasn't porn... I tried looking away or closing my eyes when it was happening. So would you girls count that as porn? But yeah from what I did see I was disgusted for some reason, maybe it more proof that God as has changed me?

Anyway, assuming that this doesn't count. It been about 8 weeks without looking.
Dude, keep fighting the devil. The fight will never be over until you reach the gates of heaven. He will always be trying to drag you back down into where you once were. 8 weeks is good man, keep it up.

This is definitely a deal-breaker. My stepdad is a porn-addict and he has now cheated on my mom and yah... porn just seems to snowball into other terrible things... I wouldnt date/marry someone who thinks viewing porn is okay let alone a porn-addict.

Weak willed people doing weak willed things, don't blame the sin blame the sinner. Actually prolly shouldn't blame anyone at all... BUT... Yeah maybe it's cus it's diffrent with girls but I have been pretty lucky. The worst I had was an ex giggling over the kama sutra book. I don't think I'd be cool with someone bringing porn into the relationship, kinda takes out the romance ya know?

I don't beleive I just said that lol next I'll be wearing dresses....

.... Actually now that I mention it....

If the person was strong-willed they wouldn't be looking at porn then, would they? Without porn there would be no porn-addicts? So why can't I "blame" the porn for the fact I wouldn't date someone who viewing it and thinking it was just fine? ..it's the same with alcohol..I've had deal with alcoholism, in my family, since I was a child. So, in turn I will not permit the use of alcohol in my household (when I have my own place or get married). However, in the case of alcohol I know drinking isn't wrong, unless you use it to get drunk. BUT! I don't see in any way why porn would be a permissible thing. ..i'm not sure there is even a point to posting this haha i dont know if i'm making my point?

That's because I doubt you have struggled with an alcholic in your direct family?
I know exactlybwhat she is saying- both my parents were alcholics and later heroine adicts. On turn I hate alchol and drugs because of how it effects people.

My point earlier kiddo is not that you should tollerste it or accept it into your hone, in fact those are noble and rightious convictions and seeing that honestly put a smile on my face. What I was saying was... Don't hate it and don't blame it. It isn't worth your energy. People will always fond addictions and I know this will offend people but porn isn't addictive. The power of instant and self gratification is, in a way it's like being god. Man will always want to instantly and easily get what he wants. It's the sin of sloth.
My point is the fault lies with the sinner not the sin, and it's not fair pure and good souls mist be forced to endure the weight of sin but such is the price of love sometimes.

I 100% COMPLETELY disagree. Pornography is very addictive. I suffered from a 6 year addiction to it, and I know first hand that it is quite addictive. It is extrodinarly hard to stop. It is said that the same part of your brain that gets addicted to heroin gets addicted to porn, and they are equaly addictive.

Ohhh! I understand what you mean now!! Thanks for going into more detail!

(and yes, my mom was also a drug addict on top of her alcoholism. So yah, I've definitely been through that as well)

Sexual release pumps the brain full of endorphines that have a simular impact on you as heroine but it is a natural function of the human body and thereby as god intended. Now this one goes out to all the wives out there-have you ever noticed how bitchy your hubby may get when you turn him down?

-flicks a coin and smirks-

we hate it, don't we?

I am sure a lot of girls have noticed it when they turn down their boys too. This is because we as humans have desires. I do not think that you were not adicted, I merely poise that your addiction was to your own gratification and sinful nature not the streaming video of sweaty bodies and faced mid-coitous. You knew that the only thing stopping you was you and that wasn't a good enough reason to deny yourself. Porn is instant gratification, no chance for rejection, no actual work, you can just finish yourself off in your own time, no fear of inatiquacy... It's personal power.

It's sloth. You are NOT chemically compelled like a smoker. Don't let me cut down your acheivement it's noble what you have conquerd, just recognise it wasn't porn it was the vice of sloth and pride. We live on a world where we are nornmally sheltered and can have our every desire met with a click of a button, food, sex, praise, comfort. Just name it.

We are fat and self focused, wicked and selfish living in a decidand world of mans own design to hide from god. We choose out beleif instead of trusting in him. We like what is safe... But salvation in a war. You did good but porn is just nackedness, man clothed itself in it's shame remember? Because man wanted to hide...

I kinda get what you are saying, but either way it was 6 years that I DO NOT want to repeat. And I don't think it was my accomplishment at all! I asked God to rid me off my addictions, and he did, it was all my father that cleaned me up, without him I'd be even deeper than I was.

you and your "part of brain" talk..... "is life not more than flesh" ... to each their own, for some addictive, for others not. either way, there is no justification or excuse

When did I give it an excuse? I am severly against pornography, and find the viewer 100% at fault. It was my fault all the time, I would never deny that. I have already stated that a pornography addiction would be a deal breaker in a relationship for me.

as far as i know...there is a pop-up blocker on practically every browser you download now. & either you turned the off so you could get pop-ups like that or you were on a bad site to begin with that got around the pop-up blocker. ..or maybe you have a virus. so i think it still kinda counts.

For some reason popup blockers don't work for me...
